Rosy walked in, her expression serious. “I believe you...”
Flora’s breath caught. “You do?”
Rosy nodded. “Yeah, I believe you staged this, which is a brilliant plan, sis. But making Dad believe isn’t enough. We need proof. Evidence. Something undeniable.” Rosy tilted her head, a faint smile playing on her lips as chaos erupted around her.
The plan needs to follow sis' plan to make it even better, Rosy thought, her eyes glittering with dark satisfaction.

Flora sat up straighter. “Do you have something?”
“Not yet,” Rosy replied. “But I will. Don’t worry, sis. I already cut off the CCTV footage from behind. I’ll plan ahead. Leave this to me.”
“Really Rosy, what are you going to do? At least let me know,” Flora said, holding Rosy’s hand.
“Sis, relax and watch how I’ll punish that girl for you. It’s the right time to break all her bones,” Rosy said, gripping the hospital bed hard.
“I think so too, Rosy. Dad doesn’t understand... he always wants to stay hidden and let them ride on,” Flora murmured.
“Sis, I’ve been here before, keeping an eye on Sage. I didn’t want to show myself until my plan worked out. I should get going now,” Rosy said, walking out of the ward.

Revealing footage
Unknown to Sage, one of the hospital’s secret cameras had malfunctioned that day – except one hidden lens installed months ago during renovation. A security guard who owed Mr Savage a favour was already reviewing the footage.
The screen flickered. It showed Flora and Rosy whispering, revealing their plan.
So... two sisters planning against me now? Good, Sage thought coldly. Let’s play.
I always win, she whispered to herself, standing up and walking out of the control room.
The guard swallowed hard, fear tightening his throat. Sweat trickled down his temple as he watched Sage’s silhouette disappear.
If Sage starts her own strategy, Flora and Rosy are going to regret it, he thought, his knees trembling.

In the security hallway
Sage stormed out of the security room, her face flushed with anger.
“Wait a minute,” she muttered. “If Rosy is planning something for me, there must be more to it.”
She pulled out her phone and called one of her bodyguards. “Follow Rosy. Watch her every move and report to me,” she ordered.

Minutes later, Sage received a call. “Sage, I need to see you. We need to talk,” Mr Deluca, her father, said.
“Dad, can we do that later? I’m in the middle of something,” Sage replied, distracted.
“Okay, if you say so,” he responded, sounding disappointed. He ended the call and frowned. She didn’t even want to hear the great news I have for her. Well then, I’ll make it a surprise.

Just then, Sage noticed Rosy heading to the head doctor’s office. At first, she thought Rosy might be checking on her sister’s condition. But something felt off.
Her instincts kicked in. She quickly called another bodyguard. “Make sure the CCTV footage in the head doctor’s office is secured,” she instructed.
Quietly, Sage positioned herself near the door, listening to what was happening inside.

Inside the head doctor’s office
“Doctor Sam, how are you? How is my sister’s health now? Hope she will be better soon.”
“Yes miss,” Doctor Sam replied nervously. “Luckily Mrs Flora and the baby are in good health. It’s just a minor issue. With days of resting, she will be better.”
“Oh, okay.” Rosy came closer to Doctor Sam. She lifted a side of her slim gown slightly as she wrapped her arms around him in an unsolicited hug. In her mind, she thought, Even if seduction is the only way to remove Sage, I’ll use it.
Using a sweet, sultry tone, she whispered, “Doctor Sam, don’t be alarmed. I’m the one getting close. I know you seem confused.”
She leaned in and kissed him mouth to mouth. At first stunned, Doctor Sam slowly responded, his hands trailing across her body. But after a few seconds, he abruptly pulled away.
“Ma’am, I’m sorry. We shouldn’t do this. You are young and also you are Mr Savage’s daughter.”
Rosy stepped back but kept her composure. “Alright,” Rosy replied. “Doctor Sam, I have an offer for you. If you are willing to do it, I will give you 3.5 million to fake a report for me.”
Doctor Sam blinked, his hands shaking slightly. “Madam, what kind of report?”
“You know exactly what I mean. I want you to claim my sister has complications, that her delivery is risky, and that she may not be able to have children after this one.”
“Miss Rosy, I’m sorry. That is a huge problem. I can’t do that. That’s like going against Miss Sage and the whole Mafia clans. Please, I don’t want to do this. Spare me.” Doctor Sam’s voice was fast, his chest heaving as tears pricked his eyes.

Smart man. He doesn’t want to betray me, Sage thought where she hid, her lips curling into a faint smile.

Rosy dropped her final weapon. “I heard your daughter is sick. She needs more than 2 million for treatment if I am right. What if I make a call that they should stop her treatment and then you see her suffer?”
Doctor Sam’s lips trembled. His knees felt weak as he held onto the desk for support.
“Take the money. Do what you are supposed to do. Pay for your daughter’s surgery and the rest is for you to spend,” Rosy said in a cold tone.
“I’m giving you this card. It has exactly 3 million in it. Take it and do what you are to do.”
She leaned closer, her eyes hard as stone. “Mind you, if I hear from anybody about what happens today, consider your daughter dead.”
“Miss Rosy... Ma, I can’t do this. I really can’t go against Miss Sage. Her father built this hospital, ma’am... please reconsider,” he begged, tears now rolling down his cheeks.
“Wow, so you are not willing.” Rosy threw some money on the floor. “Okay, now can you do it or else I will send people to suffocate your daughter. So you better do what you are supposed to do right now.”
Rosy opened the office door, watching left and right to make sure no one was listening to what she was discussing with Doctor Sam. She walked out of the office with a victorious smirk.

Let’s see who ends up crawling for mercy, Sage thought darkly, her eyes glinting with lethal determination.
