*Ember* I follow Kyan into class, still sweaty and panting a little. I’ve never liked small, tight spaces–and I particularly don’t like being trapped in them. When Malcolm, Craig, and that other guy I learned is named Butch pushed me in there and trapped me, I completely freaked out. I even tried calling through the mind-link to see if anyone was near enough to help me. Thankfully, no one from my pack was close enough to hear my desperate cries or else my father would be on his way right now. I wish I could’ve kept my s**t together. I should’ve known someone would come along and let me out eventually. I should’ve known that someone would’ve been Kyan, for that matter. Not because he owes me anything but because it seems like it’s now become his sworn duty to keep my ass out of trouble,
