*Ember*
I’m standing in the woods near the practice fields. Everything is a little hazy around the edges. I believe I must’ve just finished practice because I’m all sweaty and panting. In the distance, I hear voices, though I can’t make out what they’re saying or who’s speaking. Laughter floats along on the mild breeze which does next to nothing to cool my warm skin.
I need to shift, I realize. That’s why I was sent out here. To shift into my wolf form so we can spar. All the other students are together, none of them hiding, but then, none of them have anything to hide.
I take a deep breath and pull off my shirt, then shimmy out of my shorts and underwear.
It’s then that I hear a gasp. I lift my head to see Kyan staring right at me.
I am naked.
He can see everything!
