By the time he finished, I could almost see it. Damian slumped over his desk. A stack of papers in one hand, the other hand curled into a fist against his mouth as he coughed. I didn't want to think too hard about why he was doing this to himself. Nathaniel was working himself up. "Damian apologized. What more do you want? Come home with me. Talk some sense into him. Don't mess things up between him and me. We're still business partners." That last sentence gave him away. My own brother didn't care if I was adjusting to life in a foreign country.
