Matt is standing up there waiting for his alpha title and the scent was coming from I assume his new beta..... the blond Adonis. My mate. Now it makes sense why I was also so nervous around him. But if he knew I was his mate then why was he always with that Amber girl. That girl was a b***h and was almost talking down to everyone as if we were all beneath her.

At that moment my heart stopped. He knew I was his mate and he was banging her? I don't know how to feel right now but all I known is I want to get up and leave but I can't. I have to be here to support Rick and his son becoming alpha. Has is sniffed going to be my alpha? What has my life turned into?

As soon as the titles and swearing in occurred and everyone bent down on one knee and shown their neck as respect. I didn't feel the urge to do so but grandma dragged me down with her. Ugh ok then.

After the ceremony there was a party. Grandma said there was alphas and other packs here from all over the US and UK. I felt so akward and again felt like I was being watched. I saw amber talking to Michael my supposed mate and rolled my eyes. He would never want me. She is beautiful with blonde hair and athletic figure. I git a muffin top and a huge rack. I needed to get out of here. I turned to try and leave but someone bumped into me. "We need to stop meeting like this". I looked up and it was that older guy with the black hair that knocked me over last week at school. All the sudden the hairs on my neck stood up again. This guy is creeping me out with his smile and the way he is looking at me. "Forgive me. Where are my makers? My name is Axel. Alpha Axel of Blood Moon pack". Ok no wonder I was freaked out by him. He's another one of those intimidating alphas. He kept staring straight into my eyes. I smiled and started to introduce myself and he said "no need to tell me who you are Becca. You loon just like your father. Being in a neighboring pack, I grew up with you dad. All the local alphas and betas were very close friends. My condolences to your loss. He was a great man".

Y-ya I have been hearing that a lot. my dad and family were the best. Oh my goodness what is wrong with me. I am stuttering like a fool. So this alpha Axel knew my dad and they grew up together. My parents had us young so my dad was 37. Alpha Axel must be around that age too. I wonder where his mate is? He just kept standing there staring at me and all the sudden I felt someone grab me by the hips from behind and growl "mine".

I jump and ready to bolt but he wouldn't let go. I turn my head to tell this guy to f**k off and realize it was Michael.

Alpha Axel "Beta Michael! Congratulations on becoming beta of New Moon Pack. I didn't realize you found your mate Becca?"

Mate? I dont have a mate. All the sudden Michael growlee even louder.

Michael: "If you excuse me Alpha Axel. I need to speak to my mate". I laughed and pulled away from him ready to leave the party but Michael started dragging me away. Alpha Axel continued to stare at me and I wasn't sure who was worse company.
