Archangel 5: Nightmares

Elle Sapphire's POV

" Stop!! 'Wag! Please! Please!" A female voice echoed across the room. My vision's very blurry, I can't see what the girl looks like. 

" Don't touch me!!" She pleaded. She sounded like she's crying--no, she's suffering. I tried to move my body but to no avail, I can't do anything. I could only hear her suffer.

" Parang awa niyo na.." Her cries are slowly getting weak. I can only hear her loud shortness of breath, she was panting so hard.  After some time, my vision started clearing.  Bit by bit, I can see her. She look so young, but very pretty. 

She's crowded by four men, all of them staring at her. I'm getting worried, I can't hear her talk anymore! She's not moving as well, she's just looking up. She look so hopeless while these pigs are having the best time of their life!

" HAHAHA!"

" 'Tol iba talaga 'pag bata!"

" Mas okay 'pag bata, eh no? Hahaha!"

I saw one of  them looked at my direction, I suddenly felt nervous when he smiled creepily. 

" Sayang, dapat 'di niyo pinatay yung isa." He said while pointing at me. 

What the f**k is going on?! Where am I?! Who's that girl?! Why are they doing this to us?!

" AHH!!" 

I screamed in horror when the scenarios suddenly changed. A girl bathing with blood suddenly popped out of nowhere and is now in front of me. Her clothes are all torn, her right shoulder's filled with wounds. Her face are all covered with her hair.

" W-who are you?" I stuttered. What she did next, sent shivers down my spine. She lifted her head up, and cried so loud while pointing at me!

" Why did you forget me, Aurelle?! Why didn't you helped me?!" She look so devastated and horrible while crying. Her face screamed betrayal as if I was the one who betrayed her. Did I?

" What are you talking about?!" I started crying because of fear.

" HAHAHAH!" From crying, she suddenly laughed so loud and took a step forward. 

" Remember this," She moved an inch closer to me and whispered right in to my ear. 

" You killed.. me."

Antoinette's POV

" Elle! Gising!" Tinampal tampal ko ang mukha niya pero hindi pa rin siya nagigising!

" Babe! What's happening?!" Louise rushed inside the room, panicking because of my scream. I looked at him, asking for help. 

" Babe.." I cried while looking down on Elle  who is in my arms. Bigla nalang siyang nagsisisigaw habang tulog, pagtingin ko sa kaniya ay pawis na pawis at dumudugo na ang ilong niya.

" Elle," Pinisil-pisil niya ang kamay ni Elle, hoping na magigising ito. 

" Alas!" Dahil sa sigaw ni Louise, agad na pumasok si Alas sa kwarto. Agad na kumunot ang noo nito nang madatnan si Elle sa ganitong estado. Lumapit ito at inagaw sa 'kin ang pagkakahawak kay Elle. 

" What are you--" 

" Babe, he knows what to do with this," Louise held my hand and cut my words. " Madalas bangungutin ang kapatid niya kaya alam na niya ang gagawin." 

Napabuntong hininga ako at nanood nalang kay Alas na noo'y ihiniga na si Elle. Kinumutan niya ito ng blanket at inayos ang mga unan sa paligid nito.

" Shh, it's okay.." Bulong niya sa mismong tenga ni Elle. Sinuklay niya ang buhok nito gamit ang kamay niya. Minutes later at tumigil na sa pag-iyak si Elle. Pinunasan ko ang dugo sa ilong niya bago yumakap kay Louise.

" Ano sa tingin mo ang napaginipan niya para umiyak ng ganon?" Tanong sa 'kin ni Louise paglabas namin ng kwarto. Nagpunta kami sa salang tatlo para hayaan na magpahinga si Elle sa loob. She had a rough day. 

After ng nangyari sa school, sa condo ni Alas kami napunta. Hindi umiimik kanina si Elle at natatakot ako pauwiin siya ng ganon dahil tiyak na mag-aalala si Manang Lourdes sa kaniya. Alam kong ayaw niya no'n kaya sabi ko kay Louise ay samahan muna kami. Since unit ni Alas ang pinakamalapit sa school, pinilit siya ni Louise na dito muna kaming apat. 

Naligo at nagpalit lang si Elle kanina tapos hinayaan na muna namin siya matulog sa guest room. Pag-check ko sa kaniya ay naabutan ko na siyang binabangungot. Imagine how horrifying that was?

" Laging may napapaginipan si Elle na scenario," Umupo kaming dalawa sa sala, nag-abot sa 'kin si Alas ng isang baso ng tubig na agad ko namang tinanggap. " It's always that scene. A girl being raped."

" r**e?" Louise asked in shock.

" Hmm," I nod. " Madalas siyang bangungutin at laging yung scenario na 'yon ang napapaginipan niya."

" Sino daw yung babae?" Asked Louise . Alas on the other hand is just silent while staring somewhere, I don't even know if he's listening. 

" Elle doesn't know what the girl looks like." I answered. Kapag nagkwekwento si Elle, lagi niyang sinasabi na blurred ang panaginip niya. 

" May Post Traumatic Stress Disorder si Elle." What I said caught their attention, even Alas'. " Sabi ni Manang Lourdes ay may nangyaring hindi maganda kay Elle noon kaya ganyan siya ngayon. Maybe what Davina and Yvette did, triggered her trauma. That's why, please..."

I looked at the both of them, especially Alas. " Please make Davina and Yvette stop. Kayo lang ang makakapag-patigil sa mga bruhang 'yon. I don't want Elle to suffer like this again." 

Iniwan ko silang dalawa do'n at bumalik sa guest room para icheck si Elle. Pagbukas ko ng pinto ay nagulat pa ako nang makitang gising na siya at nakatulala.

" Elle?" 

" I dreamt of her again," She glanced at me with her blank eyes, still so lost because of her nightmare. " But this time, she's blaming me for what happened to her.."

Tears started streaming down from her eyes. I went to her and sat beside her, I held her hand and squeezed it to let her know that I'm just here. Ready to listen to her. I knew Elle but not long enough to know her past. She's already like this, scarred, when I met her. I may not know that girl from her nightmares but ever since the first time Elle told me about her, I started hating her. 

Bakit niya kailangang pahirapan ng ganito ang kaibigan ko?

" I beated Davina and Yvette in the comfort room, it was the first day of school." She said out of the blue.

" What?! How?!" I never imagined Elle to be a violent person. It's just so not her! Considering the fact na mga basagulera din sila Davina at Yvette, hindi papatalo sa bugbugan ang mga bruhang 'yon.

" I also don't know how," She embraced herself using her own arms and rub both of her shoulders. " They were bullying a girl, then eventually they tried to attack me as well. But before they can even lay a hand on me, I suddenly punched and kicked them."

" Oh my gosh!" Kaya pala galit na galit sa kaniya sila Davina!

" It was like something normal for my body. As if I really know how to fight like that. And while beating them, I didn't even felt any bit of conscience." She blew a large amount of breath in frustration. " I'm starting to get scared of myself, Antoinette."

" I'm right here, Elle," I assured her as I close in for a hug. Elle has a lot in her plate, only if I can share her burdens. The least that I can do is to assure her that she have someone to lean on. " Don't be scared, I'll always be here for you.."
