" Mom? Dad?" Ryker called his parents while wandering around their house. It's already 8 in the evening and his sister is not yet home. Alam niyang hindi mahilig maggala ang kapatid niya kaya hindi niya maiwasang makaramdam ng kaba.
" They got her, Ezio. We need to do something.."
" Let them be, for now.."
Upon hearing his parents argue in the office, Ryker hid behind a wall and listened to them. He peeked inside and saw his mom looking so worried and uneasy while his dad is the total opposite. His parents rarely fight that's why this is something new to him.
" Paano kung may gawin silang hindi maganda kay Sera? I will lose my sanity, Ezio!" His Mom slammed her hand in the table due to frustration. With the mention of Sera and the possible danger, Ryker can't hold himself anymore and joined his parents' conversation.
" What happened to Sera?" Nag-aalala niyang tanong. She's his only sibling, his princess. Hindi siya makapapayag na saktan ng kung sino man ang kapatid niya.
" Mom?" He looked at them, asking for an answer. " Dad?"
Walang magawa sila Ezio at Amanda kung hindi manahimik at magkatinginan ng makabuluhan. They know their son, once na malaman nito na may gumalaw sa prinsesa niya, tiyak na dadanak ang dugo.
" Son, let's be civilized and professional. Let's not jump into--" Ezio stood up and tried to calm his son only to be cut off.
" Dad, that's bullshit!" Ryker hissed. Inalis niya ang kamay ng ama sa balikat at tiningnan ang parehong magulang. " Where's Sera?" Madiin niyang tanong.
" We don't know.." Amanda looked down, getting more worried for her daughter.
" What?! And you're not doing anything?!" Ryker shouted in annoyance. Sa'n ka nakakita ng mga magulang na hindi pinapahanap ang anak na nakidnap?
" Give me a name." He impatiently asked. He's getting more and more annoyed because of his father! Hindi makikitaan ng kung anong kaba ang ama niya, nakuha pa nga nitong maglagay ng whiskey sa shot glass. " Dad?!"
" Sit," His father gestured the chair beside him. No emotion can be seen on Ezio's face. It's just.. blank.
" Who the f**k told you to disrespect me and your mom like that?" Dahan-dahan pero madiin nitong tanong. Inilapag nito ang shot glass na hawak at ibinulsa ang isang kamay habang ang isa'y nakatuon sa table. " Look at your mom, Axel Ryker."
" I'm sorry.." Guilt slowly consume Ryker because of how worried his mom look. He sat down on the chair and mess with his hair. He calmed himself for a couple minutes before finally speaking up. " So what's your plan, Dad?"
Ezio flashed a small smile and look at his wife lovingly before answering. " Nothing."
" Ezio?!" Amanda suddenly stood up and smack her husband in the head. " Will you really let your daughter--"
" It's for the best. She needs to remember.." With that, Ryker finally understood what's his father's plan. " She's your successor, Amanda. There's no room for innocence once she sat on that throne."
" I u-undertsand. But what if??" Amanda look so lost that's why her husband went closer to hug her.
" Antonio Villareal," Ezio stated while looking at Ryker. The latter looked at him with confusion that's why he chuckled a bit. " He ordered Sera's a*******n. It's been how many hours, that should be enough for reminiscence" He said while glancing at his wrist watch.
" That f*****g Spaniard?" Ryker immediately took his phone and dialed someone. As seconds pass, he started plotting plans in his head on what way will he use to kill the Senator.
" You're in the Philippines, right?" He spoke once the person answered his call.
" Good evening to you too, cousin."
" Sera's been abducted, Achilles." He needed to spill the bomb immediately or his moron of a cousin would blabber nonstop.
" Location?"
From being quirky, Achilles suddenly became serious. Sera is someone very important to their family. Not just because she's the youngest in the clan, but because of her role.
" Try to look around Eirini Grounds while I track this mofo." Ryker ended the call and proceed to dial another number.
" Nakidnap si Sera?"
Bungad sa kaniya ng tinawagan. Saglit na nailayo ni Ryker ang phone at nagtatakang tiningnan ang numero na tinawagan.
" How'd you know?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Ryker.
" I tapped Achilles's phone. Mahilig siyang gumawa ng katarantaduhan, mahirap na."
Ryker silently chuckled and felt a little bit relieved knowing that he can count on a lot of people.
" So, who do you want me to track?"
" Senator Antonio Villareal." Upon mentioning that corrupt official, his blood started boiling again.
" Oof! I actually know that s**t!" The person on the other line exclaimed.
" He's known in the underground?" Nagtatakang tanong ni Ryker. He knows Senator Villareal because of a few transactions but he never knew that he's well known in the underground.
" Umm, yeah, he's like a huge d**g lord or something. I knew him because of his daughter. His daughter's been bullying Sera. Only if Tito Ezio didn't warn me not to do anything, I would've exposed her scandals already.."
" Message me once you know where he is. Thanks, Celestine.." Ryker ended the call but a few seconds later, he already received a message from Celestine. It's the exact location of where Sera's at. He immediately forward the location to Achilles for them to meet there.
" Dad, I got the location." He informed his father who's now smiling while cuddling with his mom. Ryker's used to seeing his parents this sweet, they're just really in love with each other so much.
" Good. Bring home your sister." His father didn't even looked at him because he's too busy hugging his wife. While Amanda on the other hand, dismissed her husband's hug and went to her son to wish him goodluck.
" Be safe, okay?" She kissed Ryker's cheek and hug him a bit. Ryker immediately went downstairs and pick a car that he'll use.
Ryker took off and drove to the exact location that Celestine sent when he received a call from his phone.
" Hey, a few note. Make it less b****y. Sera's with her friend, you wouldn't want to taint an innocent mind, would you?"
" Noted, thanks again Celestine." He nodded even if Celestine can't see him.
" No biggie. Oh, and make it a little faster. I hacked some CCTV's around the area, and dude, Sera's freaking out.."
" Shit.." Ryker whispered and fastened his pace even if he's already at 120 km/h. He's getting angrier and angrier, oh boy, how unlucky the Senator will be..
