The team packed up camp and left the site early the next morning. They began the journey once more and they were able to cover more ground. Although it was a good journey as they did not encounter any threats,they still could not arrive their destination that day due to a number of reasons but the most important one being that they had to stop and rest a couple of times.
Curtis was the one who had needed the resting. He had been carrying Brianna all through the journey and it must have been strenuous to say the least. By the time it was dark,they were only about five miles away from the Azaluna forest and they would have taken the risk of reaching them but didn't because they knew not the terror that walked by night, plus it would be essential for them to eat and rest,most especially Curt
