Hazel POV

I got to work late today because of Fredrick illness. His sickness is getting worse by the day and need to be operated as soon as possible. But the problem right now s the money. where am I going to get the money from. I don't know who to go to because we have no family of our own

Ever since our parent died we have Been all alone in this cruel world. All our family members deserted us after our parent died.

We were once a perfect family until seven years ago Dad met with an accident that cost his life. and my mom had an heart attack and died on the same day making us orphans. Dad brother's took away our properties.we were left with the the house we live in right now and also had to do various jobs to feed us and sponsor Fred through school.

Fred condition was getting worse and there was no way I could get the required amount for his operation even with the countless job I do .And after today's visit to the hospital I know I had to arrange the money really fast. I have to find a way to get $100k as soon as possible. But how?

Howdy babe,Jace called from inside his car. jace is my friend and he has always been of help to me and my brother. And I really appreciate him he lot but now he wants us to be more than friends which I am not interested in.

He stopped his car beside me and brought his head out through the window.

Hazel did you think about my offer?

I smiled before answering him.

Thanks again Jace .but I think we are better of as friends.

Are you rejecting me?Jace asked with a sad smile.

No Jace ,I said holding his hands.he nodded and I see that he was hurt.

Really Jace , I am not rejecting you. But I don't want anything to do with relationship.

Since we are good friends why don't been just remain as good friends.

It's okay Hazel .I don't mind being your friend for now but soon I"ll make you change your mind.

I sigh as I walk back home, the last thing on my mind now is getting it disturbed by love. I have a lot to worry about and I would not like to add love to the list.

While walking back home I overheard some ladies chatting at the bus stop about somethings.

But what caught my attention was the mention of money and I heard them talking about surrogacy.

Lady 1-Do you think that being a surrogate is a bad thing.

Lady 2-it is not bad ,but I can't give my baby to someone else .

Lady 1-That is true though,how much do they pay surrogate

Lady 3- I think I have them people say they pay surrogate up to $150k to $200k

OMG!! I screamed in my mind. The money is so huge and it could also help me pay my brother hospital bills .

Maybe this is the answer to my prayers.

I thought to my self and i immediately brought my phone out to find out more about surrogacy.

After reading and understanding everything.i immediately went on a surrogacy agency to register to be a surrogate mother.

When I got back home I met Fred lying on one of the couches he was looking very weak and was sweating profusely despite the air conditioner in the living room and he was groaning in pain and my heart shattered for him and because of that I was even more determined to go through with the surrogacy.
