The dinner ended on a good note because I decided not to spoil my mother's mood. She was so happy about all this. But deep down I know I can spend a single moment with Emma. Our parents agreed to get us engaged by October and the wedding will follow after the new year.

A man was filled with Glee and her face brightened up at the news. She kept smiling at me and even tried to strike up a conversation with me. I avoided her as much as I could as soon as I got the chance to escape.

A life with Emma? No way!

When I arrived back home and let it go to work and completed the registration.and to my surprise my phone rang with a message with the occasion after a few minutes and I was told that there was someone available who meets my demand.

I was so happy to hear this.I immediately asked them to proceed with the process.

I can't wait to get rid of that Emma.

I took a shower and changed my clothes before going to bed.it's been a long day. I'm sure tomorrow will be longer with me having to go to the surrogate agency.

My appointment with the surrogate agency is by 1: 00pm. So I made sure I completed all my work before that time as soon as it was 12:30 I headed out.

My sperm was taken and I was told to wait to discuss who my surrogate will be in case I didn't like her to carry my child. I wanted to refuse at first since I don't mind at all the mother will be.

I decided to stay anyway but it was still too long and I'm starting to get impatient. Who comes late to an appointment like this?

I got all preparing to leave when I had to talk to same "she's here"

The traffic today was very bad. I had left work early so I could make it in time for my appointment at the surrogate agency, but I was caught in traffic and I was already late for the appointment.

I'm starting to get impatient as I keep looking at the time on my wrist. I can't afford to lose this opportunity. I got a client as soon as I registered. That is already a good sign that the heavens are already helping me and I don't want to blow this chance.

I was about an hour late for the appointment and all I could do was pray that they hadn't chosen someone else for the job. I rushed into the agency and I called them. I was already in the premises and asked where I should go. I was told to go to the senior doctor's office so I can meet the people concerned.

Wasn't I supposed to take some tests and fill some forms first?

I opened the door to the doctor's office and entered. I saw a man sitting opposite the doctor. He has jet black hair and he was wearing a designer suit. He was busy doing something on his phone.I could only see his side profile but I could tell that he was a very handsome man.

Welcome. The doctor in charge said with a smile. Then the man seated in front of the doctor turned to look at me.

At first he had a stunned expression on his face as soon as he saw me. But the surprised expression disappeared and his face was back to being stoic.

Hi. I greeted the doctor and my gaze darted to the man sitting in front of him.

I am so sorry I arrived late. I got caught up in the traffic.

It's okay, the doctor said and pointed to the man seated in front of him. This is Mr White and he is the one whose baby you would be carrying.

Hi. He replied without taking his look off his phone.

After waiting for some time and the man wasn't still saying anything, I decided to ask what next.

Nothing much, the doctor replied with a smile. You will just discuss with Mr White and if he is satisfied with you,then we can proceed.

I turned to the man beside me and asked "what do you think?

He then turned to the doctor and said, Whatever the doctor says is fine with me. I just want a healthy baby.

The doctor nodded at Mr White words and said . I will undergo some tests and if I seepass the test they will ask him to come when I am about to be inseminated.

Okay. Mr White said and immediately got up, shook the doctor's hand and left.

He didn't talk about the money. I thought.

Is he pissed?

Was it because I arrived late?

Calm down, Miss Hazel, the doctor said as if he was reading my mind. Mr White is a very rich man and since he doesn't have so much demand.then you have nothing to worry about. You just have to take the test. And if everything is okay with you then you get to sun the documents. After that you get your first payment and you get inseminated.

Okay doctor. Can I take the test now?

The doctor was taken aback by my question but he didn't ask me anything.

I will ask the nurse to come take you for the test.

I sat in the director's office as we expect the arrival of the lady whose supposed to be a surrogate then I remembered that I skipped a document and they didn't sign it back at the office.

I had kept the documents separately so I could go through them properly .I totally brought out my phone and sent my assistant a message asking him to bring the document over to my house.

I was starting to get impatient from waiting too long for the surrogate.

Who comes late to an appointment like this?

I got up to leave when I suddenly heard the director says she's here. After answering his phone she was the one who had called him.

I heard the doctor's office open at someone came in I was texting my assistant to find out if he was already on his way to my house.

Welcome, the director says with a smile.

As soon as the lady entered, a sweet smell wafted through my nostrils and I couldn't help but raising my head to look at the lady just coming in there in such a pleasant scent.

Usually when I come in contact with a woman the very first thing that throws me off is the smell of their Cologne and their makeup. I get very disturbed when I smell those. My body react immediately and I will start to sneeze.

But this lady cologne was refreshing it was natural and to my surprise my body reacted it is pleasant smell however it was a reaction I have never gotten before in my life my body felt calm.

I got yet another shocking surprise when I saw the lady.

She was so pretty.

My eyes widen in surprise but I quickly composing myself and returned to my usual stern expression.

Hi,I heard her greet and I could feel my heart flutter at the softness of her voice to explain why she was late but I couldn't hear any of that as my heart was pounding her against my chest.

I felt her eyes on me but I choose not to speak I don't understand what was happening to me and my whole body was reacting differently to her this is the first time I feel this way.

My eyes were itching to look at her but I choose not to heated up is it myself with my phone.

I didn't hear a reason for being late for the appointment but I had the doctor said it's okay.

Then introduces me to her she can take with me and my heart immediately skipped a beat as you mentioned my last name.

I did my best to avoid looking at her as a reply to everything I say simply simple Hi.

The director's office became quiet and I could feel her tension. She turns and squirms lightly on the chair after a while I haerd her voice again and she asked

And the director tells her to discuss it with me

With me? No no no,I screamed in my head.

Her eyes are now on me and she asked me what I think of her.

What do I think of her?I hurt myself again and you're letting my head hurting or for her to say she smells and how sweet she sound.

What? Aiden! Whendid you start having such perverted thoughts? I treated myself inwardly.

I have boiled dead again but this time it was from guilt. the director said whatever you decide is okay by me I just want a healthy baby.

The doctor nodded and said she would undergo some tests and she was okay to be missing again. You'll call me when she is to get inseminated.

Okay,I said and walked out of the office and went to my car.

Everything that happened in there was a mystery to me I kept asking myself over and over when I thought of her and my mind keep replaying image of her.and for some reason I wasn't repulsed by her smile my brain kept thinking about how cool my last name sounded when she said it had voice kept ringing in my ear. Thinking about her made my heart skip beat again!

Oh no I must be sick!

I told you about taking me to see our family doctor Dr George.

When I explained my situation to doctor George seemed happy, however he didn't smile like I know why because of me he got up and examined me and said Aiden , you are not sick.

Huh! I asked, perplexed.

How can I not be sick?

Then what was also a strange reaction I got from being by that woman's side today.

Dr George stood up and walked round the table. He came to my side and said those are signs of an illness.

Then what were they?

I looked at Dr George and placed my hand on my chest as I thought of her.

My mind keeps replaying images of her and my ears are ringing her voice. And you said it is not an illness.

I paused and looked at Dr George. Could it be a psychological illness then?

Dr George shook his head and said. I think that woman could be the cure to your allergies.

What do you mean?

I concentrated all my attention on Dr George as he explained I believe that all you feel today wasn't because you were sick or something he said it was because you are in love.

What nonsense I shouted and got up abruptly.

What are you saying?

How can I be in love with someone I don't even know?

You don't have to know someone to fall in love with them, it could be love at first sight.

Dr George what the hell are you saying I yelled at him.

The doctor just placed his hand on my shoulder and squeezed it lightly. I don't believe it or not but I can tell you without a doubt that you are in love with that woman.
