“Oh, thank you! I could use some,” Ella replied, her eyes lighting up as she accepted the tea. “I’ve been feeling a bit queasy this morning.” Sharon’s heart twisted at the sight of her sister-in-law’s innocent delight. “I thought it might help settle your stomach.” she said, her voice trembling slightly. As Ella took a sip, Sharon felt her breath catch in her throat. What was she doing? Was she really going to let this happen?
