Monday finally rolled around, which meant it was opening day.
Scarlett anxiously tapped her foot on the hardwood floor, while simultaneously chewing on the inside of her cheek.
“If you don’t stop doing that, you’re going to drill a hole in the floor with your foot.” Amy scolded.
She stopped her absent minded tapping and looked up at Amy, who was staring at her disapprovingly.
“Nobody’s going to come. I knew it, this was all a bad idea, all of it. I should have never—”
“Heyyyy, why don’t we get you a bottle of water?” Amy offered and walked behind the counter to get the water.
