It was eight in the morning. And the whole building was still in disarray, she had thought they would all be asked to evacuate the premises but no one had asked them to do that, which she supposed made sense since it was a large building with quite a large number of people and families living there. But then again, a last minute evacuation wouldn’t affect any of the people living in the building, they were all wealthy enough to acomodate emergencies, and it was evident in the way a number of them already had packed bags and were ready to leave.
