“Can I kiss you?” Time stopped. The world stood still. It was like the only thing that remained in constant motion was the air between them. There was a silence so loud that she could hear the sounds of both of them breathing. She stood there staring at him. He kept his eyes on his drink, his body unmoving. An entire lifetime must have gone by before he finally spoke. “Why?” He had decided to ditch the glass and instead took a large swig from the bottle and she just stood there dumbfounded. Why did she want to kiss him? She couldn’t even answer that if she tried. All she knew was that the dream had messed her head up so bad, it was filled with memories of his hands on her. And she felt like if she didn’t have that soon, she would expire. “I’m sorry…I didn’t mean to bother you.
