The Goodbye Kiss

“I want to talk to you,” Rose said hastily to her brother. 

She was getting eager to introduce Desire. She knew very well that Xavier will like her. Heck, even any person can like her. She is so sweet for her own good.

Xavier glanced at her sister; he was searching for her too. Today is the day when he will give the best news to her, “Yes, me too. I want you to meet someone,” replied Xavier.

‘Another candidate for COO position for the oil company’, she thinks, ‘My poor brother’. The oil company can go to hell for sure in her mind. Work has taken the life out of her brother.

She already planned to take over the responsibilities once she find the right one for her brother, she will make a guarantee he will get all the fun and love he deserves and missing. 

In her mind, Desire has every quality.

Though the decision will be of her brother but somewhere Rose was sure that her choice has a place in his life.

“Okay, but come with me first,” Rose dragged her brother to the place where she excused Desire for a moment. She was not willing to listen to a word about the oil company. She has given enough payment to the managers and MBA workers to take tension for that. Moreover, she did not want any other guy to catch Desire’s eyes before her brother.

Xavier let himself dragged by his sister, he wants to stay there only but could not deny his sister's request.

“Here meet Desire” Rose introduced. Xavier's eyes fall on the lady as her hair locks flew in the hair.

“Angel” he whispered but was loud to hear.

 Exactly what she thought, Rose patted herself and her brother for his choice.

 “She is an Angel !,” Rose smiled. She was about to give her introduction but quickly get the point that they have been introduced to each other. Both of them were looking at each other with admiration, as if they have to say something.

Rose can see the bond and excused herself back, but they did not even notice. 

She tipped the waiter to let the area be exclusive for her brother and maintained an eye on them from the bar.

She knew Xavier and Desire were in a trance, though their angel is unknown to his brother’s feelings.

Rose quickly understood that Xavier wants her. And that is all she wanted.

No one can come in between her brothers’ wish. She had to find out what her brother wants and what he wants, he will get.

“At last,” Rose whispered, “we got the Person to Love”.

After some shy glaring and chatting, Desire exchanges the number with Xavier. 

Xavierhid a smile. He will have all the birth-data to bio-data on his table in the morning but graciously he took the number as it will give a reason to talk to her.

Rose, who was behind the scenes, smacked her head.

“Number? seriously! Just take her home already”.

“Do you need anything, madame?” the waiter flirtatiously asked her.

Rose looked at him and his idea to woo her.

“Man!” she hissed.

Looking back at her brother she saw Xavier is only staring at Desire and Desire is only one talking.   

Rose giggled at the cute couple and Xavier’s reaction every time Desire tells anything. She had never seen her brother like this.

She was smiling all to herself, ‘Behaving like a human for once!’ . Rose decided to take the matter in her hands as her brother is new in relationships and Desire is also unknown to his feeling.

 They are the two opposite poles together.

One, the pure masculine and another feminine.

 Xavier being emotionless whereas Desire is caring and loving.

Xavier nowhere near innocent and Desire is the epitome of it.

But the way Xavier took care of Desire is a new version of her brother in her eyes, too. This made the validation of her decision.

“I must go now,” Desire said as she put down the tube. Xavier did not like a single word of the sentence, but he did not show it on his face. He stood up with her. Desire smiled at the gesture, but suddenly she lost her balance of the first step and stumbled. Xavier was quick to act and save her from a face fall.

“Thanks…” Desire whispered as she was hanging in his arms.

Rose stood up from her seat and called her house to prepare Xavier’s room. “Thank god, he did something,” Rose said excitedly. She wanted to cut the chase already and have Desire in her home, by her brother’s side.

“You want to go somewhere?”  Xavier asked Desire, but his eyes were on her sweet ass. That was right in front of him. His palm was twitchingly wanted to smack.

“Car,” answered Desire.

Xavier suddenly put her hands below her hips, not before caressing them, and lifted her in his arms.

“Xavier?!,” Desire whispered.

Not bothering for the red maiden, he swiftly starts marching out of the venue.

“Car, right?” he said with a evil grin on his lips.

“Oh, thanks. You are so kind,” Desire said shyly. She was happy that a kind man is helping her as she was getting dizzy on the fruit beer.

Xavier put her down in the front of her car. Desire looked at her dress which has up ridden but before she can do anything, Xavier put it right.

Desire swooned over his gentle gesture. It impressed her that he is taking care of her, but Xavier only wants a reason to touch her butt.

Looking at Desire’s eyes, he saw that she is naïve to understand that and he was absolutely fine with that. Then his eyes fall on her sister who was in some distance, angrily glaring at her. He did not understand why, but Rose was continuously pointing at Desire.

He nodded slightly in her direction and then screeched Desire’s waist to him. Taking the beauty, he guided his lips to her and enjoyed the ride. He himself did not know when his tongue went on a visit but the kiss became a short make-out session.

“What was that?” Desire asked as she blushed heavily.

Xavier shamelessly sizing in her arms whispered in her ears, “You tell?”.

“Goodnight Kiss?” Desire said so overjoyed that he did not want to change her stupid answer. With a stiff nod, he hummed and let her drive back.

Rose came after Desire’s care gone.“What she said?” she asked regarding about the kiss.

Xavier felt a twitch on his forehead answering, “Goodnight kiss”. His answer has the taste of bitterness.

“Who takes a French kiss as a goodbye kiss?” Rose questioned but later laughed at her innocence, “Serves you right, stupid”.

Xavier looked at her sister, “What did I do?”.

“You ask that? Lame!,” Rose scolded, “You have to take her to the car”.

“So I did,” Xavier replied.

“To your car” Rose answered angrily. Xavier kept quiet after the scolding.

And Rose nodded in discontent.  After this long, his brother found his match, and not she will let her go. Though she knew that her brother will never let her go, but she feared that he will f**k her at the very moment Desire disobeys him.

They call him ruthless, cold, and beast for a reason.

But in her logic, if this will make Desire to stay in their life, this may not be a bad choice.
