"Hi, I'm Brianna. Chloe's personal assistant, s***h editor, and s***h, best friend," Brianna introduces herself to Erickson.
Eric raises his eyebrows, probably amused by the best friend part. I met Brianna during college.
"Eric. Chloe's ex." He looks at me briefly and grins.
"I've heard so much about you," Brianna's eyes shift from me to Eric.
"Oh stop..." I mutter, elbowing Brianna's side. Eric chuckles, his eyes lighting up. Curious to know.
"Oh really? I hope they're good things."
"Absolutely good. Even better. You have nothing to worry about." she says, then turns to me, "I have to go, it's time for my dog's breakfast."
"Sure, I'll see you later." I answer and she leaves. The moment the door closes, Eric and I stare at each other.
