Chapter Three; Three Dys Of Fun

Dear diary;

I think I'm getting more used to writing in you know. Don't tell Dr. Asshole but it actually really helping me focus my mind. On another note Skull is such an amazing friend. We have a lot in common. It has been a few weeks since that fateful day in the hallway. The May sister no longer mess with me; in fact no one mess with me. Skull has a big influence in the school since everyone knows his ‘secret’. He has this air of power around him and that frightens them off. Lal and Viper where a bit wary of Skull at first. (It wouldn't be the first time someone pretend to befriend me while having a poisons plan in mind; or say they are my friend but when push come to shove they just to turn on me) I will admit it at the start even I was wary as well. But Skull has proven himself on multiple occasions.

I finally get what all the fuss is about your best friend being your other half. Skull is an amazing friend. And honestly I can't imagine my life without him now. Skull has taken to teaching me self-defense and how to handle a gun. That made Lal Love really happy she been trying to get me to take classes for a while but I always put it off. I was afraid of of hurting someone or myself on accident. But Skull knows how to reason with me.

This week is fall break. Skull is going to stay over for part of the break. A whole three days. I can't believe a whole three days of having my best friend over. I have so many plans. I'm going to teach Skull how to bake. He knows how to cook he's just a really bad baker. We going to matron all of the Tim Burton movies. It's going to be so amazing.

As I said before Lal and Viper where a bit wary of Skull at first but now they just adore him. Skull eats breakfast with us at least three times a week. He says it nice eating a quiet meal without screaming, arguing, or gun fire. That last one really worried Vi and Love at first till Skull told them about his gangster family. It still worries them but they don't let it show. Skull eats dinner with us to at least twice a week. Skull even has his own slips of papers in the fish bowl. Viper is even knitting him one of the traditional family sweater for Christmas. It like Skull part of our family. Its nice.

Though we have never met any of Skull family we still hear a lot about their daily lives. I hear a lot of story about Skull's boyfriend Zero. He an inventor that works for the gangs Heart of Chaos and the Storm Shadows. (That the the two major gangs in the town {Also Skull family}) The stories Skull tells me about him make me think of a mad scientist. Skull story of his brother Reborn make me a bit wary of him. But he can't be to bad being related to Skull.

I once asked Skull how come he never introduced any of his family to me. It took a few hours but he finally got an answer back to me. He admitted he never really thought about it. But he said now that he thought about it he want to keep us to himself. He didn't want to share Lal biting tsundere tendency or Viper biting sarcastic comments or my sweets I always made just for him. He also said he didn't want us tainted by that side of his world. Most of all he didn't want to share our affection and love. After that sincere confession I just let it go. I am content never meeting that side of Skull life as long as I get to keep my best friend.

Well that all I got time to write right now I have a few errands I have to run today.( I couldn't decide on just one quote to fit this entry so I put down two)

It was a Saturday. Skull would be coming over on Sunday. And he would be staying intel late Tuesday morning . Skull had some business he need to take care of before he could spend the week with them. Lal and Viper where both at work; and Rose was sitting around board at the house. So she decide to text Lal and ask if it was alright for her to go window shopping at the town square. It didn't take long for Lal to respond 'Sure that okay just take you pepper spray and be home before dark.' With a quick 'Thanks' message sent Rose ran upstairs to change out of her PJs.

Rose skipped upstairs into her room and head to her wardrobe. Humming to herself as she shuffled threw her clothes deciding what to wear. She decided on yellow and white flower sundress, a white cargain, white tights ,and yellow converses. She tied her long brown hair up in a high ponytail with a yellow ribbon. And she threw her wallette, headphones ,phone, house keys, stun gun, and pepper spray into her black mini backpack. And she was ready to go. She happily skipped out of the house making sure to lock the door behind.

She happily skipped to the bus stop. The bus stop was a ten minute walk from her home. The shopping center was a thirty minute bus ride from where she got on at the bus stop near her home. She got on and paid the fee then sat down and put her headphones on. She kept the volume on low that way she stayed aware of her surrding like Skull had taught her. After a thirty minute ride of people getting on and off they arrived at the bus stop at the shopping center. She happily skipped off the bus.

The shopping center was in the middle of the city. There was all kinds of different shops. From family own business to chain stores. It was really amazing to Rose there was nothing like this back in Nowhere. And the best thing nobody paid anyone else any attention. Everybody was focused on their own thing. In Nowhere they couldn't leave the house to go grocery shopping without anyone watching them with mistrust and the whispering following them.

She was happily humming to herself doing a little window shopping. She was deeply lost in her own thoughts. That is why she didn’t notice a man walking straight in front of her until she bumped into his broad chest. She blink confusedly for a few second then she looked up and up into dark black eyes. He was a very tall man. He had raven black shoulder length hair, dark onyx black eyes, he had an olive skins tone, and he stood at six-foot six towering way above her small frame. He looked oddly familiar not like she met him but that she knew someone who look similar to him.

She gave him a shy nervous smile. His dark eyes glared down at her before something shifted in his dark eyes when he stared at her big doe brown eye. She gave an apologetic smile up at him. His eyes where strange there was a coldness to them yet there was also a softness as he look down at her. The way his dark onyx eyes stared down at her soft brown doe orbs made her flush with a deep red blush. He smiled down at her.

Rose smiled shyly and flushely up at him “I’m so sorry sir. I was so lost in my own thoughts I wasn't watching where i was going.” He smiled down at her “It quite alright my dear accidents happen.” His voice was smooth like silk but there was a deepness to it. There was something oddly familiar about him. It not a familiar like she met him before ; but like she met someone who had a similar appearance to him.

She stared at his turning her head slightly to the side as she looked at him. She flushed a bright cherry red as she saw him smirking down at her. She gave him a soft smile. “Again my apologize. I should get going.” He smiled down at her and stepped out of the way motion for her to go on. She smiled at him one last time before hurrying on.

She hurried into a*****e at random her cheeks warm with blood. The way the man had stared at her the whole time she was in sight made her feel strange. She had the strangest feeling this would not be the last time she saw that she would see that man.

She heard a soft laugh. She looked up and saw an old lady standing there. “Oh i know that look. It the look of a young girl with her first crush. I wore that look for a long time before it changed to a look of love for my Archie.” The old lady smiled at Rose. Rose smiled back with a flush. It she keep blushing she have more blood in her cheeks then anywhere else in her body.

She look around the store and noticed she was in a book and nick nack store. She gave the women where she stood checking out a smile. Since she was here any way she mise of well do some shopping so she picked up a basket and start down a random aisle.

The aisle she walked down was the romance isle. Humming she began looking at them seeing if she found anything interesting. Lal got money in from the government for taking care of Rose she used half of it for necessaries Rose need and gave Rose the other half. It wasnt alot but it gave her some of her own spending money. She really didn’t find anything that interested her but she didn't want this to be a wasted trip so she decide to get her family a little gift.

She decide to start with the easiest one Viper. She headed over to the business section. She look at the accounting and bookkeeping books. She didn't find anything Viper would be interested in there. So she headed over to the hobby section. She decided to look over the Knitting books. She found two that Viper would like and she put them into the basket. Then she decide to look over the nick nacks she found a ortement that was a cross with a snake winding around it.

Next she look around for something for Lal. This one was semi-easy. Lal was a big history buff. So she went to the history section. Lal liked books on war tactics and the history of war. Humming to herself she look over the section trying to find something Lal would be interested in. She found a found a book on medieval war tactics and one about world war two that Lal hasn't read before and add them to the basket. She found a little knick knack of three angels two where blond one was a brunette and add it to the basket for Lal.

Now was the hard part what to get for Skull. It wasn’t that he was hard to shop for it was that he was to easy. He would generally enjoy anything that she would get him. So she did a couple of rounds around the store before she found something that she know he would really enjoy. She got him a couple of mechanics magazines and sea life adult coloring book. As for the nick nack she got him a small poster of an octopus. Octopus where his favorite animal. The weridio. Foxes where better.

She brought up her basket to the checkout counter. The college student at the desk look like she rather be anywhere else but here. Neither one of them said a thing to the other why she rang up the purchase. Rose smiled at her as she swiped her bank card. As she walk out the door she turned and told the cashier to have a good afternoon receiving a smile in thanks.

It had got a little later than she want it to be when she got out of the store. She didn't like taking the bus to late. Plus she had to go down a few allie ways to get to the bus stop. But she no choice but to suck it up and deal with it. After all it was her own fault for taking so long in the store.

She felt eyes on her as she exited the shop. She look up and over at the café across the street and saw the man from before sitting there drinking coffee. She gave him a soft smile. He smiled back at her. There was still that strange look in his eyes. She gave him one last smile and look before hurrying on her way to the bus stop.

She hurried on her way. As stated before she had to cut threw a few allie ways. They weren't exactly safe but she really had no choice. She stuffed what she could into her backpack and pulled out her pepper spray. She kept a tight grip on it and walk a quick pace down the allie way.

She saw a few thugs in the alleyways but staring at her as she cut through but none of them made a move toward her. In fact they were staring behind as if almost in fear. She shook it off. And gave a sigh of relief as she made it to the bus stop.

She saw the man from before leaning against the bus sign. She stared at him in slight shook he look wealthy he must have a car why was he taking a bus. He caught her eyes and smiled at her. She smiled back at him.The bus pulled up and everyone hurried on they seem to be in a hurry. She shrugged it off and stepped on the man a few steps behind her.

The bus driver stared at him in shock but quickly looked away. She sat down and slipped her headphone on listen to some Nightcore she had downloaded on her phone. The man sat across the way from her just silently staring out the window.

People got on and off they all stared at the man in a mix of fear and confusion. People were acting strange today. She smiled at the man one last time as she stepped off the bus at her stop. A few other people got off as well. But she paid them no mind and hurried home.

She felt someone following her. But she shook it off since whatever or whoever followed behind her didn't feel like a threat to her. In fact knowing someone was there made her feel safe. So she just hurried on her way home. She sigh in relief when she reached the street where they lived. She smiled when she saw their two-story house. It was a small two story house, it was painted grey with blue shutters, with a decent size yard.

She could still feel eyes on her. But when she turned to look nobody was there. She shook her head and hurried up the pathway to the house. She quickly unlocked the door and hurried in. She locked the door behind her. Then she peeked out the window but she still didn't see anyone there.

She was being paranoid she thought. But just in case she set her things down on the couch in the living room and hurriedly check all the locks on the windows and outside doors in the house. Everything was locked and secure. It was about five o'clock; Lal and Viper will be getting home at seven.

She decide to do something to distract her mind from everything. So she want to the fish bowl and pulled out a blue piece of paper as it was Lal night. The paper read parmesan chicken with noodle and sauce. She tied her hair back and tied on her apron

and got start preparing everything for dinner.

She loves her kitchen. Rose was the one that did most of the cooking in the house. Lal got frustrated with it quickly and Viper couldn't boil water without starting a fire. Plus she really enjoyed cooking it was relaxing. Back to the kitchen it was big it was about 250 square feet, it had a kitchen island, two stoves, and lot of space and cabinets. They painted it from it plain grey to a pale cream cabinets with pale teal green walls. It was really nice.

It will take a hour and half for dinner to be ready so she got started. After she prepped everything and had the chicken in the oven and the water boiling on the stove top she decide to make some desert.

She decide to make individual mini cakes. When she made mini cake they weren't really mini they were decent size cakes. They were just small then the other cake she made. As was stated in the being they all had different taste in food. So it was easier to make them there own individual cakes than try to make one cake they all would like.

Viper favorite cake was strawberry shortcake. Lal was spice cake with homemade cream cheese icing. Rose loved chocolate espresso lava cake. She quickly mixed up the cakes and put them in the oven to bake. Happily humming a tune as she cooked.

Lal and Viper got home at seven and they all enjoyed dinner together. Tonight it was just a quiet peaceful dinner. No one wanting to break the peaceful spell that had befallen their home. Knowing that the next week was going to be very loud and busy with Skull over. Don’t get them wrong they loved Skull but he carried chaos around with him.

After dinner Rose gave her sisters their gifts. Which as predicted they loved them. Then they decide to watch the Godzilla matron that was on TV. Since it was a Saturday Rose got to stay up later that night. And Lal and Viper both had this Sunday off of work. So they all stayed up way past midnight. It was nice just enjoying each other company and the peaceful relaxing night.

First Day Sunday

Skull arrived at the house twelve o'clock. He was just in time to cause Rose was making a late breakfast. They had all sleep in because they had been up all night watching TV. Viper got Skull comfortable in the guest bedroom. And Lal set the table while Rose finished cooking up breakfast.

They had their peaceful breakfasts together. They had pancake and fresh cut berries with sausage links and their drinks of choice. After breakfast Rose gave Skull his gift. He loved it. And they began planning their week. They had so much they want to do and only a three days to do it. They had so much planed and they were going to try their damedess to get it all done in this one week. But the plan for today was just to relax and spend time with Lal and Viper. They had plans to watch movies, play board and card games, chess, and some arts and craft.

First of they start out by doing some craft. Skull was horrible at it. He got glue all over him. And has gotten stuck on the craft on multiple occasion. He had them all laughing at his struggles. But they help him get a better hang of it.

Second they play some board games. Skull has never really played any before. His family were more focus on teaching him how to survive and rule amongst the underworld. First they played Candy Land. Skull quickly got the hang of it and won three out of the five rounds they played of it. Lal won one round and Rose won the other. Next they played Smart Ass and of course Lal won three of six rounds. Viper won two and Skull won one. Next they played Poker. And Viper won all four rounds of that. Skull taught Rose how to play Chess.

After they finish all the board games it was dinner time. Rose with Skull help made a quick dinner pasta.

Third and last of the day they brought a bunch of covers and pillows into the living room and made a nest of them and settled down to watch movies. They decide to watch the Underworld and The Resident Evil movies since Skull has never seen any of them before. It was late when they got done watching them with good nights to each other they all went up to bed.

Second Day Monday

Rose got up early around six; that way she could put on coffee and make a quick breakfast for Lal before she went in to work at seven. She also made her lunch to go to work with her. Just as she suspected at six-thirty Lal came downstairs to make herself food. Rose grinned at her sister who rolled her eyes at her when she saw her sipping a cup of coffee at the table. "Alright thanks brat. But you need to head back upstairs and get more sleep; you and Skull have a busy day ahead of you." Rose rolled her eyes but nodded her head. "Okay Lal Love. Have a good day at work. Stay safe love you" she said. "I will love you too" Lal answered back. Giving her sister a kiss on the check before heading back up stairs to her bed.

She woke up again at ten and headed back down stairs to make breakfast for herself and the other two current residents of the house. Viper was the first to come down with stair blurry tired blue eyes. Rose smiled as she handed her sister her cup of green tea. Viper mumbled her thanks as she went and slumped in her in her chair at the end of the table. When Skull came down shortly after Rose and Viper couldn't help but laugh at him. His hair was a wild mess around just as bad as Rose if she didn't brush and braid it before bed.

Skull glared at them but it didn't quite reach his eyes and he had a soft smile at the corner of his lips. "Your hair is just as bad as bad as Rose" Viper said. Skull raised an eyebrow look at her slightly messy bed head. "Rose doesn't even look that bad" he said. "Oh it is if I don't brush and braid it the night before. I nearly pull myself bald trying to tame it. You think it bad with short hair you should see it with long hair." Rose said. "I bet you look adorable" Skull said with a grin. Viper chuckled and nodded her head agreeing with him. "Siblings" Rose said with a roll of her eyes receiving a grin from the other two.

She made a quick breakfast of eggs, bacon, and biscuits. They all sat down at the table and eat. Afterward Skull and Rose did dishes while Viper got ready for her job at Bess Bakery. She came down in her uniform hair pulled in to pigtail. "So what is your twos plan for today." she asked. "We going to take a motorcycle ride on Skulls bike and have a picnic." Rose said. "Plus I want to teach Rose some more self-defiance and gun control." Skull said. "Don't remind me" Rose said with a pout. "Sounds fun. And yeah that a good idea. Lal been trying to teach her some but she get a bit jumpy with her" Viper said. "Don't worry when I'm done with her she be a gunslinger from the old west." Skull said with a grin. She being Rose pouted.

Soon after Viper left on her way to work. Rose got to work preparing the last minute preparations for the picnic. She had to slap Skull hands away a few time away from the cookies. Skull was just like Rose when it to sweets he was addicted.

They went back up stairs to get dressed for the day. Rose brushed her hair and pulled it into two braided pigtail. Her outfit of the day was a yellow half shirt, black leather pants, black combat boots, and a leather jacket. She met Skull in the hallway. Skull was wearing a purple graphic-t shirt with a black outputs design on it, black skinny jeans, a black and purple motorcycle jacket, and black Harley Davidson boots.

"Looking good princess." Skull said with a grin. "You don't look have bad yourself" she answered back. They grinned at each other. "Ladies first" Skull said with a bow motion down the steps. Rose rolled her eyes and hurried down the steps.

Now this wasn't the first time Rose rode on Skull bike before she had done it many time before. It was fun and relaxing. It felt so freeing to her. Skull had a nice bike he had a Yamaha V Star, it was black with purple flames and skulls, with chrome pipes. It was very fast to, it could go from zero to sixty in two point five.

They walk out side pulled on their helmets and sped off. That is after securing the picnic basket. Both eager to leave the city behind for some rolling hills and country roads.

They road for nearly three hours before they pulled over in a pretty open field by a lake. And they stretched and spread out the blanket it to enjoy their lunch. Of course both taking multiple picture sharing them to Snapchat and f*******:.

After eating they relaxed and let their stomachs settle before heading back out onto the road. They rode all day intel it was sun down before heading home. Lal and Viper where already back from work when the gut back. They decide to order pizza for dinner.

They ate the all got ready for bed it had been a long busy day.

Third day Tuesday

Rose made breakfast as always before her sister head off to work. Today she will spend most of the morning and afternoon teaching Skull how to bake, and then this evening they were all going to go to the fair in town.

Well teaching Skull to bake was eventful. He got eggs shells into two different batches up cookies, spilled two different cake batters all over the place, accidentally put cornstarch instead of flour into the brownie mix, and her burned a whole apple pie sending the smoke alarm into fit. But in the end they had a grand time. And they did end up with a halfway decent batch of non bake s'mores bars in the end.

Lal and Viper came home to see the kitchen a mess and flour and different mixes all over Rose and Skull. They got quite a few photos of them and the mess before they began helping clean up.

They had an amazing time at the fair. They rode all the rides at least twice and played all the games. And of course they ate a large amount of fair food from fried Twinkies to funnel cake. They got lots of prizes from the games. It was an amazing night.

But Rose couldn't help but feel she was being watch yet again. But she shook off because yet again it didn't feel threatened and Skull didn't react or seam tense nether was Lal. If a police officer and gangster didn't feel threaten why should she.

When they finally got back home they all just collapsed into their beds. Lucky Lal and Viper took the day off tomorrow. Or they would be very exhaust during work. Skull would be going home tomorrow after breakfast.

Wednesday

They all sleep in after their busy night last night. Rose got up around twelve and made coffee. She drank almost a whole pot by time the others came down. She made another pot and boiled water for Viper's tea.

They had French Toast with fresh berries. powder sugar, and whip cream for breakfast. Skull practically moaned when he took his first bite getting laugh from the other three.

After breakfast Skull had to go home they wave him off. And then they all gave each other the look. They grinned and they all head back to bed for the rest of the day. For dinner they had left over pizza and some wine. Rose was allowed a small glass. It was nice way to end a few amazing days.
