ACIR HILLS The universe must’ve hated me. Refusing to meet Zaijian’s stares, I focused my gaze on Justin. However, the smirk contorted on his lips, already teasing me. He raised his brows up and down, then winked at me. “Have fun, girl!” Justin mouthed, throwing hand hearts in my direction. I almost rolled my eyes at him, but I just shook my head. “See you later!” I mouthed back. Once everyone was in a specific group, one of the staff guided us to where we would be assigned until the end of the scheduled community service. I followed the group, falling back behind.
