For a moment, I even forgot my worries about Acir.
Talking to my family for a short period of time was enough to cast my worries away. I’m grateful for the momentarily distraction, but then I forgot that Evie knows Acir. She was young when they first met, but Evie heard a lot of stories about Acir from me.
“We have,” I informed her, my tone flat.
I wouldn’t exactly say that we reunited as if we are back together in a relationship. However, we saw each other after three years, so I do count that as a reunion.
“Yay! That’s great news, Zaiiii!! Maybe you can invite her when you visit here! I would love to see her again. Maybe we can play piano or hockey together!”
