  Ashley's POV   Knock, knock, knock.   The sound of knocking hit me like a thunderclap, a jarring explosion in my head. My body froze, the blood in my veins instantly turning to ice. Brian's face loomed just inches away, his lips closing in, making my stomach churn with disgust. I threw my hand up and shoved him away with every ounce of strength in me.   "Hebert!"
