Chapter 6

Taya's POV

I am about to walk pass the threshold of the house when my body goes numb, chills consume my body, and all i see is darkness. I feel my body fall toward the ground as I start to shake. Instead of hitting the ground I feel arms wrap around me and pull me to their body. I hear someone yell, " Get the Doctor!"

There are more voices, I cant hear my Uncle faintly say, " Get her into a secure room. No windows, ASAP!"

I try to fight the darkness that has blinded me but I am too weak. Before I sucumb to it, I whisper, " He is here."

Raydon's POV

I barely caught her as she fell. I hold her close to me a I holler to get help followed by King Leo saynig Taya needs to be a windowless room. I look down at Taya, my wife, MY MATE. She is cold as ice and starting to shake. I notice her eyes are pitch black and sarting to close.

As I lift her, I barely hear her say, " He is here."

I full stand with her and rush her to my chambers leaving everyone else behind, well everyone but Leo.

Leo is shouting, " Raydon, she needs to be place in the Tower."

I stop midstep and huff at him, " WHY THE FACK IN THE TOWER!!!!"

Leo gulps and takes a wide step back, " She needs to be placed there for her protection. I will explain all after she is safely in the Tower and your doctor looks her over.

I nod as I turn the other that leads to the Tower.

The Tower is a more of a prison cell that we use on others that are to magical for our dungeons to hold. There arre no windows, no bathroom, no bed. Just one way in and one way out. No one ever leaves the Tower sane or alive. For me to take Taya there bothers me.

I run up the four flights of stairs, kick open the door, then look around for a place to lay her down comfortly. There is only the cold hard floor. I am about to sqay f**k IT and take her to my chambers, where she would be comgortable but Leo stops me.

He pulls off his Royal cloak and lays it on the ground, " Place her on here then gently put her head on my lap."

I nod again. I slowly lay her down feeling the tingles leave my body as I release her. I do as he says and gently place her head on his lap.

I inturn sit down next to her, " Now tell me everything. Why here? What is going on? WHO THE f**k HIS HE??"

Leo removes the crown from her head then slowly pulls up one of her eyelids to inspect the blackness that has covered her beautiful brown eyes. After a few seconds he looks up at me, "Where would you like me to start?"

I look at Taya's face and sigh, "Is she okay?"

Leo sighs as well," As of right now she is."

I glance back at his face with disdain, " What to you mean as of right now? Does this happen often? why does she rub the scar on her neck? "

Leo smirks as all my questions tumble out in no kind of nonsense. Leo was about to speak when the doctor arrived. The doctor bows her head in our directions as she speaks, " Your Majesty and Alpha, I was summoned?"

I nod my head toward Taya, " Please look her over Doctor Nora."

I look back at Leo for him to continue speaking, but all he does is shake his head.

Doctor Nora works around us as she asks questions about Taya, " Your Majesty does this happen to her often?"

Leo sighs, " It use to happen often when she was returned to us but over the years it has rarely happened. Only when she is stressed or other things are fatored in."

What does that mean?

Doctor Nora checks her pulse and then goes to check her eyes. When she lifts an eye lid she gasps and flinches back as her eyes lock on Leo's. She gulps then asks with shakey words, "Do... does.... that also happen?"

Leo nods, " Itb will only last for a few more minutes then goes back to her natural color.'

Nora nods then stands up, " Physically she is fine but I would suggest she be moved somewhere more comfortable so that she can rest. I leave the Lady Luna in your care."

With a final bow in direction she leaves. I turn my head to Leo as speaks, " Now that there are no prying ears I will tell you her story but only the basics because it is her tale to tell."

I nod for himm to go on. He looks down at Taya, " First off, Taya really okay, she is strong, feirce, loyal, brave, and extremly stubborn. You know of her father's passinng?"

I raise an eyebrow, " Yes, I glanced over the file that sent. I know he was injured rescuing his daughter from that leech. His injuries were too great and he took his place aoung legends."

Leo smirked, " Yes, but the files doesn't say how or why she was taken. I won't be sharing that tale with youu because again it is for her to say. Her scar is from when Draco bit her. He didn't bite her deep enough to start the change but he went deep enought to cause a sort of connection."

I growl at that comment. The only person who should have any connection with her is me.

Leo looks at me oddly but goes on, " Over the years, she has learned how to block him out completely, but sometimes he gets pass her walls. You ask why she rubs her scar? She views it as a reminder of her mistake and it also lets her know that Draco is reaching out to her, but also one of ehr nervous ticks. The HE you asked about it Draco. She can sense him, no matter where he is or how far. What you see now is a side of effect of what happens when he breaks the wall."

I am at a complete loss of words. Leo takes a breath but speaks further, " For your final question as to why the Tower? When this happens, when he pushes through he can see through her eyes and has slight control of her."

I growl again, " How much control?"

Leo, " Enough to cause her harm and to get her to try to leave. Usually his just watches though her eyes."

I growl louder and deeper than before. My growl startles Taya awake. She sits up gasping for air and in panic. She turns her head as she looks in every direction when finally her eyes land on me. I palce her hand in mine, " Your safe."

She looks over to Leo, " Is anyone hurt?"

Leo smiles lovingly at her, " No one is harmed. You were only out for about 30 minutes."

Taya nods and looks at me, " I apologize my Lord Alpha for being a damsle and ruining everything."

I give her a lazy smile, " My Lady Luna, you are allowed moments to be a damsel. I will say though we will have to postpone your fight with my Beta till you are well enough."

Taya nods again and moves to stand. Leo and I stand with her. She grasps Leo's hand, "Uncle we must speak... Alone."

Taya's POV

I gave into the darkness when I felt his presence. I shivered. I am in his chambers. I finally turn and see him on his bed staring at me wickedly. He moves to stand up, " My love, you are here."

I hiss at him, " DO NOT EVER CALL ME THAT! Why am I here?'

He moves closer to me as if to touch me. I take a wide step back. He frowns, " You are my love. Mine and mine alone, but yet you wed another."

I hiss again, " I am nothing to you and you are nothing to me. I was a stupid girl who was swayed by your words. I will never do that again."

I arches an eyebrow at me, "Then what will it take for you to be mine again?"

I state, " Nothing. I would rather die than be yours!"

He tsks at me, " TSK TSK TSK..Your death will never happen. You belong to me and not that mongrel dog Raydon."

How did he know I was wedded to Raydon? Is there a spy in our nations or has gotten better at prying?

I look at himm with disgust, " Draco, why did you breech my wall?"

He takes a step toward me again, " Would you believe that I missed you and that I wanted to check on you?"

I huff, " No."

He smiles, " I know you are currently in the Tower. The beast must have feared you to powerful and placed your there to keep you away from his flee infested mutts."

 I slap him across his face, "Never speak of my Lord Alpha or his pack like that again."

Draco rubs his cheek that is now a bright red, " Still fiesty as ever. I have that fire in my bed."

I go to slap him again but he catches my hand and pulls me toward him. He wraps his free arm around me as he backs me up against the wall behind me. Once he has me caged between him and the wall he tilts my head so that he look at my scar. He places a kiss on it, " I wish i went deep enough to trigger the change that way you would have stayed with me."

He pulls his head back so that fangs will descend. He leans his head back so he can bite me again. Just as his fangs are about to touch my neck I hear a loud growl that causes everything to shake. Draco whispers in my ear, " I will kill them all just to have you back. I am coming for you."

Right as finishes speaking, I am back in my body and sit straight up. I fight to pull air in my lungs as I take in the fact that Draco was indeed correct. I was in the Tower. My eyes lock on Raydon and he grabs my hand, " Your safe."

My hands is tingling in his and I feel calm. I turn my head and see my Uncle. 

After a few words are exchanged I tell my Uncle that I need to speak to him privately. Raydon looks like he wants to argue but he doesn't. Raydon does a once over of me and squeezes my hand before he leaves us alone. Uncle speaks up first, " What is it Tay-Tay?"

I tell him everything that happened with Draco and how he said he would kill every one to get to me. Leo huffs, " Taya you should have let Raydon know."

I scoffs, " Not yet. I cannot tell him yet." 

Uncle shakes his head at me, " The longer you keep your secrets from him the less he will trust you. You need to be open with him. He is now your husband he has a right to know."

I stomp my foot, " AND I HAVE A RIGHT TO DECIDE WHEN TO TELL HIM. Uncle once he hears what happened, what I caused... he will treat me differently. He will have cause to call for a Resolution."

Uncle again shakes his head before he places a kiss on my forhead, " I doubt he will but you are correct on all accounts. When did you become so smart?"

I now smile, " I get it from you."

He laughs as he escorts me out of the Tower and in search of my husband.

I know I must tell him but I want to wait till we have a chance to know each other.
