Chapter 2

Lance's POV

I had begun to pace in the front room while waiting for the Summit to begin. Which would begin when King Leo arrives, which wouldnt be for another few minutes. I had already met Lady Victoria and her advisor James. The female was a b***h and the advisor was worse. I could only hope that the King's niece was more like her father than her mother. But with females they always took after the mother.

I stopped pacing when I heard a femmine giggle coming from the stairs. I turned my head and saw no one. I closed my eyes to focus my hearing. I heard a sweet voice say, " Now Alya stop fussing. I will not destroy the hard work that you and Maria slaved away on. Now release me so that I can walk freely."

I heard the steps getting closer. I quickly straightened my clothes and stood straight up. I glanced up at the stairs and almost dropped my jaw at the beautiful girl in front of me.

Beautiful was not the correct word. More like a Goddess. She was a rival to the Moon Goddess herself. I had seen old photos of her but DAMN! Seeing her in person put her photos to shame. She had golden brown eyes, oak brown hair that was curled about her face. She had make up on but I believed she was prettier without it. The dress she wore hugged her curves and showed off her ample breasts. She stopped when she saw me gawking.

She cleared her throat to get my attention. I smiled at her and then bowed.

I stood back up and locked my eyes on her. If only Raydon knew that the female he was to wed was this beautiful he would be here instead of p***y deep in Mina. I would have mindlinked him but he had said he didn't wanna be bothered with his plain bride and reminded me again he was only marrying her because of the Treaty.

I finally spoke," My Lady Kronos, it is a pleasure to meet you."

She smiled at me, " It is indeed, Alpha."

I laughed, " I apologize I am not the Alpha. I am Beta Lance. I am the Alpha's Second in Command and his younger brother."

Her smile vanished and she had a stern expression on her face. She finished coming down the stairs and was now standing in front of me. She gave me a weak smile and said, " Well it is still a pleasure to meet you Beta Lance."

I would have spoken more but there was a loud blare of horns. Her maid smiled," King Leo is here."

Taya quickly moves past me within a blink of an eye. She moved fast for a human. She swung open the door and took off her heals as she ran out the doors. I followed her outside and watched as threw herself into the arms of an older gentleman. I growled at the fact that she allowed another male to touch her while she was engaged to my brother. I stopped growling when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked down at the small female. She tsked at me and said, " Stop that noise. That is her Uncle, the King."

I look back at them. The king sat her down and was just starring at her. A loud female voice shouted," Taya that is not how a Lady acts and that is not how I raised you. Greet the King correctly."

I looked at where the voice came from and it was Lady Victoria. Taya stepped away from the KIng and bowed low while saying, " Your Majesty, welcome to Kronos Homestead. It is an honor and privilge that you are here."

The King smiled down at his niece, " Arise Lady Taya."

There was a secret twinkle in his eye when the King lookeed at his niece. The King looked at Victoria, " Darling Sister-In-Law, as always a stickler for rules and traditions."

Victoria was followed by James as they made their way to the King and Lady Taya. I finally started walking to them as well. The King noticed me and laughed, " Lance you are here. Where is is Alpha Raydon?"

I gave him a grim look, " He is handling pack business and sent me here knowing that I was the best for the job."

King Leo looked at Taya who didn't seem pleased at all. She looked pale and had a hand at her neck as if she were hiding something. The King placed a hand at her waist and escorted her back inside and toward the meeting room. He sat down next to her. Her mother and James took the two seats next to the King and I sat down in front of the King.

It was now time to get down to the talk of the wedding and the Treaty.

Taya's POV

It was great to see my Uncle. I had missed so much, we had barely seen each other this year. We usually had visits twice a month but he has been busy with making the Treaty. We were finally sitting in the meeting room to have the Summit. I could hear James whispering to my mother, "I told you the Alpha wouldn't show. Instead we get this vile monster instead."

I look over at Lance who I know for sure heard what James said. My mother whispers back, "And I told you we should have offered her to the Warlocks and Witches but you said we would get more with the mutts."

I had to bite my tongue before I said something smart that would get me a punishment later. Screw it the punishment would be worth it. Before I could speak Lance states, " Your Majesty, my Alpha has agreed to your terms of the Treaty."

Uncle Leo smiles, " That is good."

Lance speaks again, "There was one thing he didn't agree on."

I had finally had a chance to look over the Treaty last night and found everything to be perfect. Both races would thrive from the terms. What did this so called Alpha not agree on?

Uncle Leo asked, " What item did he not like?"

Lance looks at me then back at my Uncle, " He would like the Wedding to take place at the border of our lands instead yours, especially since it is a union of our races."

Before my Uncle could speak I stated, " Agreed. It is completely understandable." My mother scoffed, " NO it is not. We have been planning this since James and I approached King Leo with a marriage to you as apart of the Treaty."

I shot back, " True you did, but it makes sense that it be at the border."

My mother wanted to argue back but my Uncle slammed his hand on the table, "Enough. The event will take palce at the border as suggested. Both sides will have guards present so that Taya is protected."

I smile at my Uncle. Lance adds in with saying, " My Alpha would also like to move the wedding up to next Full Moon."

I am now in shock the next Full Moon was tomorrow. I would have argued but a sharp chill shot down my spine and the scar on my neck started to pulse. I placed my hand over the mark and said, " I am fine with it. Can we now sign the Treaty and get on with everything?"

My Uncle gave me a sharp look and then looked at what my hand was covering. I saw the sympathy in his eyes and nodded.

Lance placed his copy of the Treaty on the table next to ours. My Uncle signed both copies and then so did Lance.

I went to stand up and heard the last voice I ever wanted hear in my head, ' I am coming for you.'

It was Draco.

Raydon's POV

'Yo Ray you busy?'

I let out an annoy growl as I mindliked Lance, ' What do you want at this un-Goddessly hour?'

Lance responds, ' It is 5pm bro. I am giving you and update.'

I roll out of bed careful enough not to wake up Mina. I f****d her long and hard all night letting taking all my pent up frustrations out on her willing body. I pulled on a pair of shorts and grabbed my phone to call Lance. Lance answered after two rings, "Beta Lance speaking."

I respond, " What's the update?"

Lance lets out a sigh, " He agreed to the terms."

I smirk, " Of course he did."

Lance laughed a little, " Well he agreed to it after Taya did."

I get a confused look on my face. Taya? Why did he use her name and not her formal title?

I ask with a little anger in my voice, " Why are you calling her by her name and not with her proper title? And what do you mean after she did?"

Lance quickly speaks, " Chill bro. It was a slip. Lady Taya agreed to the terms and after she did her mother spoke against it and then the King agreed with Lady Taya."

I rub my brow, " Why would her mother argue against it?"

Lance huffs, " Her mother seems like a b***h straving for power and James her advisor has made numerous comments about our kind. From what I have observed her mother and her mother's advisor are and have been using Lady Taya as a pawn."

I continue to rub my brow, " Well that will change. So I guess I will meet you at the Border later tomorrow."

Lance speaks, " Yes you will. Do you want to know anything about her?"

An arm wraps around my waist and I feel lips kissing my back. I moan a little when Mina's hand slides down my abs and into my shorts . Her hand wraps around my now hard d**k and starts to rub. I quickly respond to Lance, " No I am busy. Link Micah to have everything ready at the Border for tomorrow."

I hang up on him and throw my phone on the side table. I grab Mina and pull her in front of me. I smile down at her and say, " On your knees."

She drops down and pulls my shorts down with her. I arch my eyebrow and nod so she knows she can continue with her fun. She guides her hands to my rock hard d**k and brings her mouth to the tip. She licks the tip and then fully engulfs my member in her mouth.

I only kept her around to help ease my s****l urges but now that I would be getting married I would no longer need her. I look at her, " Mina this was the last time. Once I say my vows I will be a married man. I plan to be loyal and faithful to my wife."

Mina hisses at me, " You plan to be faithful to a piece of meat? Those things don't even know what loyalty is!" I growl," MINA, ARE YOU QUESTIONING YOUR ALPHA?"

Mina shys away from me, " Sorry, Alpha. I didn't mean to question you. It is just I love you and I thought sooner or later you would pick me as your Luna since you haven't found your mate."

I shake my head at her, " I am marrying for the sake of our people. This Treaty is for peace. Lady Taya will be my wife. WE had a good run Mina but it is done. Now go get dressed and go meet with everyone at the Border tomorrow. NOW GO!"

Mina runs to the back door and shifts into her brown wolf and takes off. I knew what I said to her was mean but she needed to hear it. I meant what I said. Once I said my vows I would be faithful. Just because I was marrying her didn not mean she would be Luna.
