The atmosphere shifted instantly, the playful banter giving way to something darker, more intense and it got me hotter and shivering. My heart raced, a mix of anticipation and nervousness bubbling up inside me as Kaden carried me towards the bedroom. The way his muscles flexed beneath my touch, the smirk playing on his lips...it all sent a thrill of excitement through me, even as the mention of "cuffs" and "other stuff" had me questioning just how wild this night was going to get.
