"You need to stop crying, Sienna. She’ll be fine," Lucius mumbled, his voice laced with uncertainty. Judging by the way he avoided looking at me, I knew he didn’t believe his own words.
Nothing was fine. Nothing would ever be fine again if we couldn’t save Vida. My sister was set to be executed, and there was nothing I could do.
