The sound of whimpering penetrated into my ears and I frowned, the sleep in my eyes clearing away but I still kept my eyes shut, wanting to enjoy the beautiful morning a bit longer.
"Lia... It will kill you, don't go, please." Vida's voice startled me awake and I looked at her in awe but she was still sleeping and I noticed Kaden was already awake, staring at her too.
"She must be having nightmares again, we should wake her up." Kaden suggested, wiping away the bead of sweat on her forehead.
"Don't... It will hurt you, Lia." She called out in her dream, her hand reaching for something invisible and I was suddenly afraid for her, what was this constant nightmare that's always haunting her?
