Sienna's POV.
"I think they are going to kill Vida." One of my roommates and once upon a time good friend said and I couldn't help but smile. I don't know how things got this bad but I'm extremely happy.
"I heard the alpha king is coming, she's doomed." Another chipped in and I wanted to join their conversation but I was scared they might reject me again and I am done facing the only pride I have getting thwarted upon.
I leaned back, pretending not to listen as they continued whispering, but inside, my heart was pounding with excitement. Vida... doomed. The words tasted like honey on my tongue, sweet and long overdue. After everything, it was her turn to feel the sting of rejection and fear. She would finally know what it was like to be powerless
