Chapter 144.: Questions.
Vida's POV.
As we headed to the apartment, I sighed. I think coming back to school was a bad idea, there were guards tailing us and Mr. Devin and Sienna were my support. I could hardly walk, never knew I was so weak till now. I was free from being executed, thanks to Mr. Devin, I have so many questions to ask him but I guess that can wait till we get to the apartment.
"Just hold on a little longer, star bright, we'll be there soon." He assured me and I just nodded and exchanged looks with Sienna who was leading the way. She was looking at me with a mix of worry and guilt, her eyes red and puffy from crying. I knew she was trying her best to be strong, but the pressure of everything that had happened was bearing down on her, just as it was on me.
