My heart contracted painfully as I stared at the two men in front of me, a humorless laugh came out of my mouth, not because what they said was funny but because it was too painful for me to process.
"You... You two knew about the darkness too? You came to school because of the darkness?!" I fired the same words they had told me a few seconds ago and they bowed their heads in shame.
