"Father?" I couldn't help but whisper the name when I saw my father sitting just a few seats from the Lycan king.
What was he doing here?
Could they have invited him because of me?
Oh goddess, I wish they could stop tormenting me and my family, my father and I are just getting along and now this, what if father distances me away from himself again, what if he hates me for everything?
I locked eyes with him for a moment and I thought I saw hatred in his eyes or perhaps it was anger or pity?
On a closer look, if he was invited as the father to the suspect, wasn't he supposed to be seated in another place, why was he seated with the Lycan king and his council?
Something feels terribly wrong and I hope it wasn't what I'm thinking.
