Past (Five years ago)
I could still hearken back to the days when Dad sourly said his answer to my question. It was like my world had crushed and breaks into tiny pieces.
“Hindi.”
Nagpaulit-ulit iyon sa isip ko na naging sagot ni Dad at late na bago ako makapagreact.
He’s so serious that it makes me smile bitterly. I nod my head and think that this is it. They are both not willing to support me.
Tumayo ako pero tinawag ako ni Mom para pigilan ako.
I let out a deep sigh as I rolled my eyes without them noticing.
“Mom, Dad…” nahihirapan kong pagtawag sa kanila. I feel the side of my eyes were watery but I blinked them away. “Bakit po? I can’t understand your reason why unless you tell me right now.” I paused. “Hindi ko lang matanggap.” pahabol ko pa.
