Doctor Hansen entered the ship’s wardroom, nodding at Petty Officer Second Class De Peralta, the Filipino steward, who went to fetch him coffee and juice. Hungry this morning, Mark thought bacon and scrambled eggs would be the ticket.
Mark hoped that they were close enough to Pearl that the ship might be able to receive commercial radio transmissions. If operations allowed, the Captain permitted Sparks to broadcast popular stations. Music would go well with breakfast.
