Chapter 29 1015 Hours November 22, 1942 Rear Guard, Tunisian Task Force 8000 Yards South of Feriana Village, French Protectorate of Tunisia Asteady drizzle soaked the three men as they slithered through the muddy North African field in a night as black as Junior Monarch’s heart. Genero, Captain Louis Anton, and Staff Sergeant Taylor crawled from their camouflaged position to the edge of the low ridgeline, located five miles south of the Berber village of Feriana.
