MONARCH EXECUTIVE MISSING
Federal and Commonwealth Investigators Puzzled

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania (June 19, 1943)—The United States Attorney in Harrisburg, Frederick V. Follmer, revealed late Friday that Federal and State investigators have obtained warrants for the arrest of Mr. Randal J. Monarch, Jr., the Chief Executive Officer of Carlisle-based Monarch Industries. The affidavits supporting the warrants claim that state investigators and FBI agents have discovered evidence of fraud in several contracts that Monarch Industries has executed with the United States Army and Navy.
