Gabe unlocked the door and held it open for me. I entered and collected my wash things, hastily saying that I"d be back in a moment then heading for the bathroom. When I returned a few minutes later, Gabe had laid out blankets and pillows on the floor as far as was possible from the bed. I smiled inwardly but said nothing. It was then his turn to leave the room and by the time he returned I"d changed at incredible speed and was sitting up in bed with the covers pulled over my bent knees and right up to my chin. Gabe smiled broadly and I suspected he was laughing at me. "Are you sure you"re alright sharing a room?" he asked. "Yes, it"s fine. Are you sure you"re alright sleeping on the floor?"
