**Nate** I opened my eyes, looking out the small window of the bedroom to a beautiful view of the sunrise. Being on the top bunk provided me with the perfect spot to see the horizon as the sun was just beginning to peek over a small hill off in the distance. The sky was showing the beginnings of bright pink, orange and yellow hues. I had always loved watching the sunrise and set each day because it just felt so peaceful like the perfect balance of starting or finishing a day in harmony.
