Chapter 26

~Marcus~

About an hour or so later I'm still in the relatives room waiting for news off my mom, when Oliver, Tyra, Lucas and Michael all walk through the door making their way to me, I'm surprised to see them "hey guys, what are you all doing here?" I ask happy to see my friends when suddenly I'm pulled into a hug by Tyra "Oliver told us about crystal" Tyra said releasing the hug and standing with the group "you're part of our music family" Michael begins "you help keep us safe with how big and well known we are, besides, we said we want to meet her" Lucas added. It was then Oliver spoke up "Like hell you was going through this alone, we're a family, we stick together" I couldn't feel any more grateful towards them if I tried "thanks so much, all of you" I say as I look amongst my friends, I then notice that Dylan isn't with them "hey, where's Dylan?" I ask confused as to his whereabouts "has some appointment or something" Lucas shrugs, Oliver tries to change the subject "forget him for now, you said a miracle happened, what was it?" "Crystal, she's going to survive. My mom as well as other doctors and specialists are sorting her out now, but she's going to survive" I say beyond happy, there was a short pause which was broken by an equally excited Tyra "really? So we will get to meet her?" I nod "when she's awake yes" although you could tell that Oliver was happy he was also confused "but how? You said, I mean we both heard..." I was to happy and excited for him to finish so I cut him off "I know, I know, that's why I came, because they was going to turn off her life support, and I don't know how, but she's alive. I was saying goodbye to her, but after saying goodbye, I turned around a went to leave" "then what?" Michael eagerly asks "she gripped onto my hand, I don't know how, but she grabbed my hand" I reply, to say Oliver was shocked would be a big understatement "seriously man?" Tyra followed "really?" I just nod, then I'm met with another hug from Tyra "dude that's awesome" she say just as happy as I am.

I enter the relatives room to update my son Marcus on our dear Azura's status when I see most the band there with him, so I approach him. I clear my throat and catch all of their attention "hey guys, hey son. I have news on Crystal now" "good news?" Tyra asks hopeful and I'm so glad I can nod and answer positively "yes" then my son sounding beyond desperate "is she awake? Can I see her?" I smile faintly "she's not woken up yet, she's sleeping, but yes, you can go and see her" before I could say anything else Marcus bolted off "why does he always run off before I finish?" I shake my head then myself, Tyra, Oliver, Lucas and Michael all make our way to the ICU.

When we reach the ICU on our way to Azura's room I decide I should probably give the group a slight heads up, even though Oliver will probably already know "I need to tell you guys something first" "what is it Mrs. B?" Oliver asks "she has oxygen on, just to help her breathe. So when she wakes up, due to the oxygen and the loss in her left eye, she will most probably freak out bad" I explain, Lucas shrugs "that's understandable" he begins, then his twin Michael carries on "she bound to freak, especially if she doesn't like hospitals" "which she REALLY doesn't" Oliver points out, then Tyra in her soft gentle tone  asks "it'll be normal, so why tell us?" I sigh "it's the way she freaks out" "what about it?" Michael asks, so I carry on explaining to the group even though Oliver already knew "she can become violent and need sedating to avoid her hurting herself, or anyone around her for that matter" "that's understandable" Tyra says gently, I can't believe how understanding these are, I know my son has made the right decision choosing to introduce her to this group "I don't fancy seeing karma in action" Lucas says which doesn't surprise me, he always tries to make the situation lighter than what it is "me either" his twin agrees, I chuckle lightly as we arrive outside Azura's room "shall we go in then?" I ask smiling holding the handle to the room door. Tyra is very eager "let's go, I can't wait to meet this awesome chick" I smile at how eager they are to meet Azura "also, try to be as calm as you can with her in there" I explain to which they nod.
