Chapter 7

~Marcus~

A couple hours pass Azura is still asleep and my mom still by my side "I'm just going to check some things, I'll be back to check on Azura, ok?" I nod "ok mom, love you" "love you too" I reply as my mom leaves the room, I brush a piece of Azura's hair back behind her ear then I start to very gently and softly as I possible stroke Azura's face "I know you've been sedated so will be asleep for a while, and I don't know if you can hear me, one with being asleep through sedation and 2 having hearing problems, why did you hit him? I could of dealt with that i***t myself, I'm sorry it's been a few years, if you had a phone I'd of called you when I could. I know I'm not a family member, but you still mean a lot to me, I want to help you anyway I can. I'm even going to introduce you to someone when you're better. I hate breaking the law, but to protect you I'll even lie to the police if that's what it take to keep you safe" I say then I get my phone out of my pocket and dialled a number.

I'm standing in my office looking out the window watching the world go by as I think of what I have to do, I work as a music producer I own the whole recording studio so there's much that I have to do just then my phone rings and I answer.

About half an hour later I start to end the call "yeah sure, sounds good to me. Ok, thanks, bye" and with that I return to looking out my window 'that should be interesting, I wonder what...' I was cut out of my thoughts as I heard a knock on my door "come in" it was my assistant "I'm sorry to bother you sir, but your 4 O'clock re here" she is a lovely polite young girl my assistant, I gave her the job a few years ago and things couldn't of been any more organised from there "send them in" "as you wish sir" she says then leaves.

I sit on my chair at the top of my table then a band I manage as well as produce for come in, it has 5 members in Tyra Skye she's the sweetest of them, she a bit like my assistant timid but will also voice her opinions, then there's Dylan fry he is not a bad lad, gets a bit overprotective of the band members sometimes and can get annoyed if anything messes with the band schedule. You also have Michael Hayde and Lucas Hayde they're twins, and you definitely can tell who is who just by their personalities, and lastly you have Oliver, he the typical bad boy with a huge heart. He can be rough and tumble but when needed he is the most understanding of you. 

I gesture for them to enter "come on in guys and please take a seat" one by one they came in and sat around my table "so happy you could all meet me today" "no problem Mr. Cole, you are our producer after all" Tyra says in her sweet tone "I'm so sorry, I called him and tried..." Oliver says as he sits down "don't worry, I've already spoke to Marcus, I know he's busy" I say to Oliver cutting him off so I could reassure him that it's sorted "Does anyone know why he's too busy? This is the 2nd planning meeting he's missed, I mean fair enough the reason for the first was reasonable, but no explanation for this one" Dylan said sitting down.

Michael and Lucas sit down at the exact same time "look, I'm sure he's got a very good reason" Lucas starts "Luc has a point, I mean Marcus has never let us down for no reason" Michel finishes "what is he doing Mr. Cole? Why is he busy?" Oliver asks as he is the last to sit down "I believe that is for Marcus to tell you, not me. Anyway, shall we talk your new album and next tour?" I ask looking at the group "of course Mr. Cole" Lucas says as they all look at me and I start to talk.

I begin to hear a male voice "hello? Young man, can you hear me?" I wake up opening my eyes to a male police officer 'geez my head, hmm...a cop?...Perfect, Azura Jenson you're  going to wish you was never born, the way I'm gunna play this cop...hope you really hate prison Jenson, coz that's where you'll be soon' I think as I prepare to put on the best performance EVER "who? Who's that?" I  asked dazed "It's Officer Ouche, you're going to be fine, I'm here to help" 'hah i***t, I knew exactly who you were, you're the cop that really hates AJ and is really cruel and tough on her, you can make prison the worst experience for anyone "I don't feel so good" I say putting my hand to my head  "you'll be fine, I've called for an ambulance. Do you know who did this?" I answer pretending to flick in and out of  consciousness "yes" with this next bit I will be nailing the coffin shut on Azura "it was....was...it was Azura Jenson" "thanks young man" the officer starts saying "I will like you to come to the station to give a statement when you've been checked out of hospital, is that ok with you" I smirk internally "yes, thanks officer" I answer pretending to be extremely injured "I'll stay with you until the ambulance arrives, you're going to be ok" the officer says as I close my eyes pretending to be unconscious. Time to give Azura what's coming to her.
