Chapter 3

~Marcus~

Yeah, it's amazing seeing Azura again, me and AJ go way, way back, I hated having to leave because I felt like I was abandoning Azura when she never really had no one, I mean sure she's in a gang but they don't know he like I do. I'm watching Azura and looking out for police while she fixed my motorbike for me, as Azura is fixing my motorbike I hear a voice I really hate, I most definitely hated Edward McCullen he has been both mine and Azura's nemesis since forever "hey Marcus, sweet ride man" he says as he walks over to me, I just roll my eyes, I really can't be bothered with him today "hi Edward, what do you want?" I ask wishing he'd get lost "thought I made it pretty clear, I want your bike" he answers pointing at my motorbike, I shake my head "not gonna happen, like ever" "don't force me to take it from you" he threatened, is he for real threatening me? I'm part of the freaking army and my best friend is mafia "I'd like to see ya try" I challenge, he raises an eyebrow then smirked "didn't think you'd trust a chic to fix it, don't you want it working lad? Or are you just that desperate? Either way, she looks fine from what I can see" he's trying to get under my skin, but he doesn't realise it's Azura, the same girl who broke 3 of his ribs in school.

I just chuckle "first off you're never getting my bike, 2nd you're lucky she never heard you coz she's busy, she'd smash your face if she'd heard what you said, and lastly, you say that 'chic' looks fine from what you can see? Just wait til you see her" I say smirking knowing what kind of reaction he's going to give when he sees Azura "I can't wait to see who she is, is she your girl? Is that why you're so defensive of her? So I'm gonna get your ride and chic?" he asks very cocky, I can't wait to see his face, I just roll my eyes getting annoyed "no she ain't 'my girl' just an old close friend, an hell no you ain't ever getting 'my ride', you truly are the most annoying and cowardly person I've ever met" I say getting bored of his s**t talk, I can't wait for Azura to finish fixing up my motorbike.

~Azura~

I had just finished fixing Marcus's motorbike, it didn't take as long as I thought it would, I turn it on to test if it works and it does, so I turn the engine back off and go to Marcus who was in his fighting stance, I see it's Edward, I can't stand that guy. I walk over to the 2 boys in their fighting stance, I see Edward throwing a punch to Marcus, so I push Marcus behind me and catch Edwards fist, you learn a lot of self defence when you're in my situation, Marcus's eyes grew wide in disbelief while Edward looked at me in shock, he then says "well f**k me man" I look him up and down "yeah, I'd rather not" I say as I crush his fist in my grip and he lets out a loud, pained yell. With my free hand I punch Edward in the face with all my strength and force behind, my hand make a loud crunch then Edward hits the floor like a sack of shite, I clench my teeth as my hand starts to throb, "don't wanna catch nothing off ya, though that wouldn't be possible coz ya never get any. Frankly, ya jus not my type" I say as I watch Edward lose consciousness, while my hand blows up like a balloon but that doesn't bother me as I turn to Marcus "still got it scrappy" Marcus chuckles "of course I have" I say feeling the pain but trying not to show it and be smug.

~Marcus~

I smirk as I see Azura trying to be smug, but then I look down at her swelling hand, then see the pain she's trying to hide, she's always been like that, not wanting to show the pain she's feeling and if you never knew her the way I do she'd fool you, but she can't fool me...I know her too well, I know that she won't agree but she needs her hand checking out, concerned I say "you shouldn't of done that with your bones, let me take you to a hospital" "no, no hospitals. Please Benson, no hospitals" I knew that would be her reaction but she's my best friend, I can't know that she's hurt and not get it checked, so I try to reason with her "I know you don't like hospitals AJ, but I heard the crunch and the way your hand is swelling, I'm pretty sure it's broke and..." "I'm the most wanted by police, I go to a hospital I'll get arrested" she cuts me off frustrated in pain, I try to protest "but your..." "no hospitals Marco, I mean it. I'll get arrested again and put away for a long time, plus I've no insurance or money, so I can't pay for bills either and I hate hospitals, you know that" she says warning me and with Azura I heed the warning, this isn't going to end well and I'll lose anyway, so I sigh in defeat and try to think of some kind of plan "jump on my bike, I've got an idea" I say to which Azura just rolled her eyes, then it was her turn to sigh in defeat "fine, give me the damn helmet, I swear though if I get caught and arrested it's on you" I chuckle lightly "you won't, now jump on" "fine, I'm trusting you Benson" she replies.

I give Azura the spare helmet I have and see her wince a bit as she tries to put it on her head "here, let me help you scrappy" I say putting the helmet on Azura, it cost a lot but I got the helmets where you can communicate to each other. Azura climbs onto my motorbike then says "don't make me regret this Marco" "you won't" I reply as I text my mom then get on my motorbike. I start the engine, then off I rode, I just hope it works.

Whilst on our way, I decide to make conversation with Azura, like I said it was expensive at the time but definitely worth it so I can still communicate to whoever was on the bike with me, in this case it was Azura "so scrappy, what you wanted for this time?" I ask as this isn't the first time she's been running from police "how long ya got Marco?" Azura asks "the whole ride" "fine then, 9 counts of GBH...well ten now with the i***t back there, also arson, suspected murder, carrying weapons, resisting arrest and assaulting a cop....but in my defence, the guy is a total douche and definitely deserved it" she replies and I can't help but smirk at the last part "been busy then?" I ask to which we both chuckle "you could say that" I carry on riding my motorbike whilst talking to Azura.
