Chapter 28

Azura opened her eyes, and I'm standing stroking her nose knowing she is going to go mental. Azura blinks a few times then gets a freaked out expression on her face so I go into her line of sight as she starts shaking so I carry on stroking her nose and making sure she can see me as I try to relax and reassure her "I'm here, just like last time. Just stay nice and calm, my lil bezzy, ain't ya?" Azura smiles and nods very slightly "I'm going to try my very best to get Talia back for you, I promise. No one will hurt you on my watch, I'm never going to lose you, not if I can stop it" I promise her meaning every word I say, the pain in her life that she's had to face....I'm going to try my hardest to fix it, maybe....just maybe I'll help her calm down and hopefully find Talia so she has her twin back "no one will know, not unless you say they can, I promise I'll get Talia back, no matter what" I see a tiny glimmer of hope in Azura's eyes, then very weakly  she asks "really?" I just nod "really. Hey there's some people who want to meet you, do you want to meet them?" I ask changing the subject as I know Talia is a touchy subject for her, just then I seen Jennifer enter but sees that Azura is calm so stays out of her sight "yeah, ok" Azura says to me smirking slightly then I gesture Tyra to come over and stand next to me "this is Tyra Skye" then it's Tyra's turn to speak "hey Crystal, it's nice to finally meet you, Oliver and Marcus have told me how awesome you are" "She helped save your life" I say reminding Tyra how amazing what she done was "I only gave blood because they ran out"  then a very grateful Azura replied "thanks" "I wanted to meet the badass chick" Tyra says making Azure chuckle slightly, then to not overwhelm Azura Tyra walks back to where she was, Michael and Lucas make their way to us "now there's 2 others" I say as Michael and Lucas stand next to me "these 2 are Michael Hayde and Lucas Hayde" "they look the double, like the same" to which I chuckle then Michael and Lucas talk at the same time "yeah, we're twins" then they start at each other at the same time again "dude quit doing that! No you stop it! You stop it, it's too weird. I'm not doing it you are, quit copying me" then they both roll their eyes and start talking to Azura, again at the damn same time "sorry he needs to keep his mouth shut when I'm talking" Azura seems to find it amusing as she smiles a bit, the boys then go back to where they was and Azura get a sad look on her face "What's up?" I ask concerned, she was smiling a bit just a second ago "me and Talia was always like that" "remember what I said? I promise you I'll get her back" I say realising just how much emotion there is when Talia comes up and that's really the only time when you see true emotion on Azura is when her twin sister is brought up. 

Azura starts to become more awake and alert as she realises she's in the hospital and she can't see out of her left eye, then she really starts to freak out so I make sure she can see me "hey, hey what's wrong?" I ask hoping she'll calm down without 'intervention' but she can barely make out a full sentence "no, no. No hospital, I can't....I don't.....no....why?..." I realise just how much she's about to start panicking so I turn to Marcus "Marcus, she's starting to panic, get everyone out" "I'm on it" Marcus replies as Azura really starts to freak out "can you guys please leave the room? It's just while Crystal is stressing out, just so no one gets hurt or scared" and with that Tyra, Michael and Lucas leave the room closing the door behind them then Marcus comes next to me so Azura can see him "AJ calm down, relax" but fell on deaf ears....literally "no I can't.....I don't....you know no hospital" Azura says with panic in her voice so I try to help talk her down "come on AJ, I know you don't like hospitals, but please calm down" but not even me can calm her down at this point as she takes the oxygen mask off so quick before me or Marcus could say anything, then she started trying to pull the wires off of herself. Marcus looks to Jennifer as I'm trying to get Azura to stop pulling on the wires Jennifer nods and Marcus frowns knowing what his mom was saying, meanwhile, I'm still trying to get through to Azura "no AJ, let go of the wires" and she listens...kind of as she's filled with panic and frustration "my left eye, I can't see out of it, get me out" she then starts pulling out all the tubes and IVs and I mean all of them every single one, Marcus just rolls his eyes as it's the same script every time with Azura.

I finally get a hold of Azura's hands as she finishes taking out the tubes and IVs she starts at the wires again, I get hold of both her hands and hold them together "I know you're scared but just look at me" I say as Marcus then tries to restrain Azura....keyword being TRY but Azura still fidgets and fights against being held and restrained "get off! Get offa me now you...you cazzo!" Azura demands but I still try to calm her down, even though I know I'll fail as she's in the red mist phase of freaking out "look at me AJ, come on, look at me. I know you're scare, maybe confused and tired but please calm down" and just as I thought...I was right, nothing I do or say can calm her down "she needs the oxygen back on and to calm down" Jennifer calls out watching her vitals on the monitor as she prepares the sedation, and of course Azura isn't making it easy for him to restrain her as she fidgets and wriggle all ways "I'm well aware of that mom" Marcus calls out as he is struggling to restrain Azura, especially at the angle he was on while I was trying to keep her hands together so she doesn't start pulling on the wires again "I'm coming over now, I need to intervein and sedate her" Jennifer says as she prepares the sedation and starts coming towards us.
