Chapter 34

~Oliver~

Fear over runs my body after Azura's warning, so I gulp and nod, fear clear in my voice "ok, I won't tell Marcus" thankfully Azura lets go of me, I straighten myself up whilst Azura turns around and throws up again followed by a really bad cough, when finished she turns back to me "thank you, now, I'll tidy myself up, bring tissue jus in case I start coughing, then we'll go to the guys and I'll sing" Azura cuts off as she coughs again, I really don't see how well this will work or that because of the coughing, Marcus will find out sooner or later, should I tell him without Azura knowing? Would that be possible? How the hell will she hide this from Marcus? Something isn't right with her, but she won't be truthful...why though? Maybe she truly believes herself that it's nothing major.

After Azura finishes coughing, she carries on talking "and we act like this NEVER happened" "ok, but are you sure you can sing with that cough? Shouldn't you go and get che..." before I could finish Azura gives me a glare that if looks could kill I'd be 6 feet under right now, a glare that is obviously her warning people glare because it's scary as f**k, so naturally I back down "never mind, that sounds like a great idea" "thank you" she replies with her fake ass smile that I've come to know so, so well, she usually uses it before talking to Dylan or insult someone...so....yeah, I kind of just say nothing and listen to what she says, yeah I don't think I'll Marcus, I'll let Marcus find out himself that Azura isn't well "I'm just going to let Marcus know I've found you" "ok, but I'm warnin ya West" last name....she's serious so I'll deffo just let Marcus figure it out himself, I just nod then Azura turns around again and vomits again. Azura goes out the stall and cleans herself up, then grabs more tissue and starts coughing really violently into the tissue, I just text Marcus to tell him I found Azura. After finished coughing, Azura cleans herself up again and reapplies her disguise using make-up, she washes her hands then grabs more tissue putting it in her pocket "done?" I ask "yeah I am, now lets go. The quicker this is done, the quicker I can go shopping to get new clothes, and hopefully something to eat, if possible" came the reply "ok, since we're keeping secrets from everyone, can I ask you something?" I ask wanting to know a bit more about Azura "ok, but be quick" "I know you told me you're on the run from the cops, but where do you live?" I ask, I think I know the answer,  but I want her to tell me and confirm what I suspect "you swear not to tell anyone?" "I swear" "no where. Sometimes I'll sleep in the park because it's peaceful, under a tree if it's raining, which it has been very heavily" did I just hear that right? Is my lil bezzy homeless? I've got to find out more "what? You live on the streets? You're..." Azura cuts me off with the answer "homeless, yes I am. I've been living on the streets since I was 11 ish, I lost my mom, then my twin, and ran away from foster care all before I was 13" I wasn't expecting that answer "oh my, AJ, I'm so, so sorry" "I don't want any pity, it won't change things"  "so when you was ill? And had..." "yes first when I was really young, then relapsed when I was eleven" "and now? again?" I ask, she may not think it's cancer, or she may just be in denial, but my dad died from it when I was younger, that's why I lived with my uncle who is also very strict as he's got some big job abroad, so when he's home he's very strict for me to see him, so I know the signs, I can tell it's in it's early...ish stages, but I also know it can get worse, my mom didn't believe or accept she had cancer until just under a year when it was then at stage 4 and died. How can I get Azura help? I'm going to listen to her, but I'll also be damned if I just let her die, hopefully she won't though. For now though, I'm going to play it Azura's way as she says sounding annoyed "I told you I'm fine, I've not relapsed in years since I last got better" she gets more tissue as she coughs, after her finishing coughing she sorts herself again, gets more tissue and her make-up "now let's go" and with that we both left the bathroom and made our way to the others.

Myself, Tyra, Michael, Dylan and Lucas was all just talking, after waiting too long for security just to get told they weren't available I went back to the group and started talking when I get a text, I take my phone out of my pocket and see it's Oliver saying he found Azura and they're both on their way here "good news, Oliver has found Crystal and they're both on their way here" I say to Tyra answering "cool" then we all get back to talking whilst waiting for Oliver and Azura.
