Chapter #77 - Hesitation

Officer Horn and detective Robinson were at the FBI office which was based in San Fransisco where they were been introduce to there investigation team , Gael Wilson , Emma Williams , Rowan Blanchard were sitting in the office , Waylen led them to the room where they were sitting , he opened the door and introduced Horn and Robinson to everyone ,

" Guys , look we got our new recruits here on this case , this is Officer Horn , she's is the leading investigating of this case and this is Detective Robinson , he's the partner of Officer Horn from now on they will work on this case with us ... "

Rowan asked ,

" Aren't we enough for this case ? "

Waylen replied ,

" It's a direct order from above and we are not supposed to question our superiors so do exactly what they asked for ... "

Rowan said ,

" Chill our alright ... "

Waylen introduce all three of them to Horn and Robinson ,

" Meet Rowan Blanchard , he's one of the top agent we have , then there is Gael Wilson , he has the brain of a killer and solved more cases then you could have imagine then there is our best of the best agent Emma Williams .... "

Robinson was in shock and after a moment of silence , he said ,

" It's nice to meet you all , we will be looking forward to work with you all in good manners .... "

No one replied and all three stared them , after staring them , they got up and said ,

" Let's get to work , shall we , you two change yours clothes and come upstairs ... "

Waylen asked both of them to go to changing room and change there clothes , after changing clothes and wearing FBI jackets and clothes , they gave them guns for the safeties . While Robin and Horn went to change their uniforms , Waylen walked inside the superiors office and said ,

" Sir ! Horn and Robinson are in our team , they will join us as soon as they get dressed ... "

Superior officer Mark replied ,

" Excellent ! Now listen , I want you to keep an eye on those two alright , don't let them do anything stupid or do anything outside the box ...... "

Waylen asked ,

" We all do respect sir , but I don't get the plan behind this at all , why are we doing all this ? What's the point of putting them in our team , there isn't anything that our team couldn't do so why would we need them ? "

Superior officer Mark replied ,

" You won't understand but to not put you in any doubt's , I wanna make this clear to you that what we are doing right now , will keep those department guys taking that credit away from themselves and we will gonna take all the credit of capturing those robbers ... "

Waylen said ,

" But sir , this isn't a high profile case as we speak nor any danger those robbers took some hidden cash and nothing else , why would media and anyone will pay attention to this case ? "

Superior officer Mark replied ,

" You don't need to know all this just solve this case and put those robbers where they belong and you know the place right ? "

Waylen said ,

" Yes sir ! I know where I have to put those robbers ... "

Superior officer Mark replied ,

" Good ! I know , you have a lot going inside your mind but know this what we are doing is betterment for this department and for our agency , and I know one more thing that you wanted promotion right ? "

Waylen was shocked after he heard about the promotion and asked ,

" Ahh ! Yes , but how did you know ? "

Superior officer Mark replied ,

" Waylen ! My trusted agent , I know everything and I know you wrote a letter for your promotion but it got rejected unfortunately ... "

Waylen again got shocked and said ,

" Yes ! It's true sir but right now , I'm focusing on way more things and I'm not even trying to get promotion now ... "

Superior officer Mark replied ,

" Well ! I have no problem with your promotion Waylen but know this if you solve this case then I might request for your promotion ... "

Waylen said ,

" Now ! You are disrespecting me sir , I appreciate your offer but I will get my self to upper rank by proofing my self and soon you will see me at the top ... "

Superior officer Mark replied ,

" I'm hoping but if you want me then I will request them for your promotion so no big worriers , you keep your self high and let me worry about the rest alright ... "

Waylen said ,

" In future , maybe sir if I would have needed your support but for now , I'm good with it and I will solve this case no matter what sir ... "

Superior officer Mark replied ,

" Excellent ! Now listen to me very carefully Waylen , this case isn't just a normal case , I'm giving you hands up because I don't want you to go bizarre in this case , I want you to handle this case as a real professional and you are currently among the senior and experienced handlers , I have faith in you so try go smoother and sharper and get those robbers in any cost ... "

Waylen said ,

" Don't worry sir ! I won't let you down in any way , I got this and I will proof to you that I'm the best in this case ... "

Superior officer Mark replied ,

" Yes ! I know ... You can solve this case without any problems and I have faith in you ... "

Waylen said ,

" Thank you for putting your faith in me sir , I won't let you down .... "

Superior officer Mark replied ,

" Alright ! You may leave now ... "

Waylen walked outside the office and said ,

" What a dawn losers , they think I'm gonna be working on their side , they have mistaken , I'm gonna get my promotion from this case and I will show them who's the best agent in this agency . One thing for sure , this isn't the normal case or otherwise they wouldn't gave me hands up someone big is behind them and he's probably forcing them to solve this case as soon as possible , my second guesses are they are being a bit over upon this case because of that hidden cash , maybe that money belongs to some politician or to some government who knows but I gotta handle this case carefully .... "
