Chapter #54 - Making Steps

Mason's phone suddenly rang and in panic , he went outside the hideout to have conversation on the phone , while he was on phone , he constantly shouting upon someone and saying ,

" Listen ! I know , you have told me dozens of time but what I'm trying to say , you just have to give him a bit time , I'm on it , don't worry just don't discharge her ... You know what just give me few days and I will sort this problem , I promise ... No ! The trusts are not willing to pay me anything , I don't know why and bank have refused to give me anything , I just want you to give me few days ... "

Mason Hung up and walked inside and said ,

" Sorry guys ! Important call from my daughter .. "

Dave said ,

" Good one ! Lucifer ? "

Lucifer replied ,

" Been looking for some guy who could be used as decoys , so I got a gang named braggers , they are the hired guns and have a lot of experience in taking down the anyone , we can use them in particular places to switch clothes etc , they will be our shadows ..... "

Dave said ,

" Do you know where to find them ? "

Lucifer replied ,

Mason said ,

Lucifer replied ,

Dave said ,

Dave took the details and walked outside with Josh to a coffee shop , where they called Sajid , Sajid was sitting on the chair and Dave asked him ,

" Sorry for keeping you wait ! "

Sajid replied ,

" Don't be , I'm hoping you will be back with the best results .... "

Dave showed him all the documents and Intel about the 4 man and a group , they will be recruiting and explained him , What will be there use , after hearing all the information Sajid said ,

" That's quite a lot to cover but we will surely get them on our side but the main task will be handling Ranjeet Singh , he's the prime target , we need him .... "

Josh replied ,

" We haven't thought about how we handle him but Mason has suggested us to black mail him , we just have to convince him that we want his information to get rid of the cooperate .... "

Sajid said ,

" That might work , but there is no guarantee because he is a director so not simple as that .... "

Dave replied ,

" What if we hit his family and kidnap them ? We can exchange information for his family .... "

Josh said ,

" No ! that might be risky , we have think about another way from which we can handle him , I think we should use the technique of black mailing , first we will try to talk him , if he doesn't agreed then we will play our main card .... "

Sajid replied ,

" That might be good .... "

Sajid said ,

" These 5 names will be part of our plan , so we have to make them convince enough so that they won't betray us in the last moment , we need 100% of there loyalty .... "

Dave replied ,

" Don't worry ! we will convince them and they will do everything for us .... "

Sajid said ,

" Alright ! if you required anything else , you can contact me , I will be there for you guys at any time ..... "

Dave replied ,

" Just take care of our hideout .... "

Sajid said ,

Dave and Josh got up and went back to the hideout , Dave and Josh were sitting together discussing about how to convince all , Josh said ,

" Listen ! if we could have just convince them with money then might be great because money matters the most in this world .... "

Dave replied ,

" Not money , for some people there pride is much important so I don't really think everyone in this world , do every single dirty work for money ..... "

Josh said ,

" Stop ! talking in riddles , again on the point .... "

Dave replied ,

" We will figure this out but we have to complete sorting everyone on there tasks , we are only two which means Sajid has to go with one of them .... "

Josh said ,

" We have assign them on a suitable person so that they can convince them ..... "

Dave replied ,

" Mason , Connor and Ethan can handle them self's but not sure about Lucifer and Cormack , there behavior is a little childish , we have to fix there behavior ..... "

Josh said ,

" Then why don't you go Lucifer and I will go with Cormack , in that we can make them understand to act maturely , fearless ...... "

Dave replied ,

" Yeah ! That might be great .... "

Josh said ,

" Let's assign them on the particular person to convince them ..... "

Dave and Josh discussed who will be the perfect for which person , after 2 hours of discussion , they got up and gathered all of them , Dave said ,

" Alright so those five suitable names will become the members of our team but we have to convince them in there manners , we don't wanna use force at them because we need there loyalty at the worst time , so Josh and I decided all of us will split and choose one particular person to convince him to join , because of we are short at timing and we need information as quick as possible , so we will split , now we have chosen each one of you for a suitable , Mason you will go for Sammy Vince , Ethan will go for Mitchell Sam , Lucifer and I will go for Lewis Gregory , Josh and Cormack will go for Ranjeet Singh and last Connor you will go for Morrison Silver ..... All have been assigned now we will rest tonight from tomorrow we will head on our journey alright ? "

All agreed , everyone went back to there rooms to rest , In night everyone was having dinner together and after having dinner , Dave and Josh sang a song for all there friendship and they all danced with each other , while dancing Dave received a call , he went outside to attend the call , It was Nino , he said ,

" Hey Dave ! How are you ? "

Dave replied ,

" I'm fine bud ! How is she doing ? "

Nino said ,

" So far good , operation has been successful don't worry about it but she isn't conscious .... "

Dave replied ,

" Alright ! if you need money then I can give you more ..... "

Nino replied ,

" No no ! I don't need any money right now but if I required some , I will ask you .... "

Dave said ,

" Alright ! "

Dave went back inside to join others in dance , after dancing , Dave and Josh said ,

" Guys ! We wanted to share something with you .... "

Dave and Josh shouts ,

" WE LOVE YOU ALL ! "

Everyone charged at Dave and Josh , they all hugged each other , and Dave said in his mind ,

" We are all again , I hope we should stayed right this for the rest of the life .... "

Present Day

" f**k f**k ! "

Dave shouts ,

" CONNOR ! WATCH OUT ! "

Connor got shot in his chest by a cop and he fall down in the hallway of the cooperate building , Dave and Ethan ran towards him , the cop ran away from the place , Dave and Ethan quickly picked Connor and took him to the heads room , they placed him on the desk and Dave said ,

" You gonna be fine , Ethan do something ... "

Ethan replied ,

" Hold his wound tightly , let me get my kit .... "

Ethan didn't find his kit in the bag and Josh said ,

" I can't find my kit , Cormack must have it ... "

Dave worriedly said ,

" Ethan ! we will lose him do something .... "

Ethan replied ,

" Just hold his wound ! I have to find Cormack .... "

Dave shouts ,

" Quickly ! "

Ethan ran to find Cormack , Connor said in pain ,

" Dave ! please take care of my community , I owe you at least this much , I have done all , I can for you guys , please take revenge upon my family and for me too , find Norman and kill him .... "

Dave replied while sobbing ,

" I promise you , I will but don't say anything right now , you gonna be just fine .... "

Connor said ,

" Take care my friend ! "

Connor died after saying these words and Dave got blur front of his eyes , he stopped thinking , he fall on the ground and dragged him self to the wall , he looked at his bloody hand , he starts crying loud in pain of loosing his friend , when Josh and Cormack arrived in the room , they saw Dave crying on the floor and Connor wasn't breathing , Josh fall down on his knees and starts crying , Cormack angrily walked outside while shooting with his gun , Dave said in his mind ,

" I remember when we first met , you were scared and lonely , everyone were beating you , at first I wanted to save you but then I thought of my self then , when I met you in school , you always wanna share your lunch with everyone because you wanted to become friends with others , when I met you , you taught me that thinking about yourself doesn't mean a lot , when think about others more then you that makes you what you are , you have taught me a lot my friend , I wish we could have stayed like that for ever but our friendship has ended here , I never thought we would end up like this , farewell Connor my friend , hope we will meet in that world .... "

Cormack was looking for the guard in the lobby and when guard saw him , he took the shot but his gun was empty , Cormack heard the sound and captured him , he shouts in his ears ,

" b***h ! I'M GONNA f*****g KILL YOU ! "

Cormack took the rope and tied it on his neck and dragged him on the floor towards the hostages area , he throws him in front of the hostages , Mason saw him on the CCTV and said ,

" Oh s**t ! "

Mason quickly ran towards Cormack to stop him , Cormack evilly shouts ,

" YOU GUYS WILL REMEMBER HIM IN YOUR SLEEP ... "
