Chapter #65 - Meeting went Terribly Wrong

After a while Mason was standing in a empty street in the middle of the night wondering about something , he took out his wallet and got a picture out of his wallet and began to stare it , while watching that picture , his eyes covered in tears . It was his daughters picture and kept looking at it and said ,

" This too shall pass my princess , hang on tight , I might not able to make it to you but my prayers and my soul will be with you my dear princess .... "

He received a call on his number from her daughters number and he answered it , he asked ,

" Yes ! My princess ? "

His daughter replied ,

" Dad ! Are you okay ? "

Mason said ,

" Yeah ! I'm completely fine , why ? "

His daughter replied ,

" I don't think so dad that you are okay , your voice seems like you are sobbing ... "

Mason wiped his tears and said ,

" No ! no , I'm not sobbing , anyway I wanna tell you daddy's gonna be home soon , don't worry , I will be there as soon as I can ... "

His daughter replied ,

" And will you bring me some toys ? "

Mason said ,

" Toy's , I will bring a lot of toys for you , I promise ... "

His daughter happily replied ,

" Okay daddy ! "

Mason hang up the phone.

Mason got a call again from her daughters nurse and he answered the phone and said ,

" Yes Sarah ! Is she doing okay ? "

Sarah replied ,

" Yes ! She's doing fine for now ... "

Mason asked ,

" For now ? Why what happened ? "

Sarah replied ,

" Her current reports are not so good Mason ! We need to start her treatment or else , it will be too late ... "

Mason said ,

" I'm trying my best Sarah but please take care of her , I will come to visit her soon but up until , please take care of her , she's the only thing that meant in my life , I don't wanna lose her please Sarah ... "

Sarah replied ,

" I will see , what I can do but please , gather your money fast or else , your daughter won't be able to make it ... "

Mason said ,

" I know , I will soon arrange money and will send it to you ... "

Sarah replied ,

" Mason ! Well , I don't want to say it but I know your wife very well and before she died , she asked me to look after you and her daughter , I wanna ask you one question Mason , what are you doing ? How you gonna manage so much money ? "

Mason said ,

" I can't tell you Sarah , just remember what I'm doing is for my daughter and just for my daughter , my daughter is everything to me after my wife died and I will make sure that I will raise her and make her strong like her mother ... "

Sarah replied ,

" I have no doubt that you are a fantastic father but I don't want you to get in trouble .... "

Mason said ,

" No ! Don't worry , I won't get in any trouble , I'm working with some shipment guys and I will get a lot of money from this job soon so don't worry , I'm doing the right thing ... "

Sarah asked ,

" Are you sure about it ? I think , you are hiding something from me ... "

Mason replied ,

" No ! That's crazy , you been acting really strange , go take care of my daughter , I will send you the money as soon as I arrange it ... "

Sarah said ,

" Alright then , but be careful alright ... "

Mason replied ,

" Alright ! Alright ! You sound more like my wife ..... "

Sarah said ,

Mason replied ,

Sarah said ,

Connor landed in Greenland airport , he took the taxi to a old church , he stepped inside the church and there was a priest praying to God , Connor walked towards him and stand right beside him , the priest finished his prayers and saw Connor , he asked ,

" Hello Young man ! How may I help you ? "

Connor replied ,

" Only help we will get is from community ... "

Priest hugged him and said ,

" Welcome to the Greenland Community ... "

Connor replied ,

" It's good to see you father Charles ... "

Charles took him to a chamber where he opens a door which led them to a Community's big leaders , Connor one by one met them and they asked him to sit down with them , Charles ask ,

" Now ! I hope it will be a good reason , that you are here ... "

Connor replied ,

" Oh yeah ! It is , I want a favor , I'm looking for a man named Morrison Silver ... "

Charles said ,

" I never heard that name besides if you could have show us his picture and where he works or anything that could help our people to locate his location that might be goof for us .... "

Connor replied ,

" Yeah ! I have here is the picture of him and some details regarding where he could be ... "

Connor gave me some of the documents and pictures of him , Charles ordered his leaders to inform there people who been working near the ports and docks , Charles said ,

" Alright ! we will soon get some news regarding it ... "

Connor replied ,

" Thank you so much for that ! I appreciate your help brother ... "

Charles said ,

" Don't make me uncomfortable by saying that , well you can rest for a while , it's been a long journey .... "

Connor replied ,

" Yeah ! I will rest but I can't , I need to find this man fast , I don't have much time , I have maximum 3 days and it's been already 1 day ... "

Charles said ,

" Don't worry about it , we will soon get the news regarding the person , for now just rest for a couple of hours .... "

Connor replied ,

" Alright ! I will rest but if you find him , do wake me up ... "

Charles said ,

" Okay okay ! I will now go , Syrus will show you , your room ... "

Connor followed Syrus to the room and he rested for couple of hours and slept , when he woke up , he walked out of his room to the main hall of the meeting place where everyone were gathered and then Charles came in and said ,

" Thank you everyone for waiting , now we will proceed with the meeting ... "

Martine said ,

" We have some problems to discuss ... But most important that some thugs are beating our mimes at the main center of the city but they attack them on specific time , it has been happening for a month ... "

Nichol replied ,

" Then why didn't you took the action , it was your duty to took the action and resolve the problem regarding everything that has been happening why didn't you then ? "

Martine said ,

" I tried but I couldn't stop them , I send few of my fighter mimes behind them but they never came back after that I warned everyone to runaway when ever you see them but that didn't helped and I asked everyone to stop going to the center but those thugs now targeting our mimes all over the city ... "

David replied ,

" That's unacceptable , we have to do something against them or else they will keep doing this to us ... "

Charles asked ,

" What are your thoughts ? What should we do ? "

David said ,

" We must kill them one by one ... "

Nichole replied ,

" I must say , killing will make the matters worse , we have to figure this matter out in a proper manner , we must scare them a bit so that they won't do this sort of thing ever again ... "

Martine said ,

" I will go with the David's suggestion , they should be dealt like this ... "

Ryan said ,

" I will go with Nichole's suggestion because as she said killing will make matters worse , we should solve this problem like this ... "

Charles said ,

" Alright ! 2 David and 2 Nichols's now it depends upon my vote , I will go with ........................... David's suggestion because you can't make them scare so we will kill them one by one .... "

Nichole replied ,

" Charles ! this will make matters worse for us try to understand we have to figure out something else , this is not the right path , you know this , besides our other community know soon enough about this matter and if they heard that we been slaughtering the thugs who been attacking on our people , what you gonna do then ? "

Martine said ,

" We will figure out this problem later but right now we have to do fix this problem first , now I will go and assemble some of my man in order to prepare to attack on those thugs ... "

Ryan replied ,

" It's not right , you have to understand this , this will make matters worse then you think ... "

Nichole said ,

" If you wanna do this , alright do it but don't expect anything from us Charles , we won't be part of this .... "

Connor heard and stepped inside the meeting and said ,

" My vote will go with Nichole , as her suggestion was the best one I heard , Martine's suggestion can went terribly wrong .... "

Martine gets up from his chair and said ,

" Well ! who you think you are ? you are not even the part of our mime community ... "

Connor replied ,

" Well ! I think I am , tell him Charles ... "

Charles said ,

" He is the leader of Venice community ... "

Martine replied ,

" As if I cared about his opinion , his vote cannot be count because he isn't part of our community , Charles my suggestion is best , you said you wanna continue with it so we will go with this , I won't allow anyone to oppose it ... "

Charles said ,

" Connor ! Killing will stop them from hurting our people , we have seen such incidents happened in past but now we have to put end to this ... "

Connor replied ,

' Did they killed any of your people ? No ! so you don't have any right to kill them , did you forgot our rules that if someone kills someone who belongs to our community then you can kill him and avenge your brother , have sense in your mind , respect the rules that were put up for us to follow , don't cross your limits or else community will punish you for what you will do ... "

Martine in anger smacked the table and said ,

" Who you think you are lecturing our leader , we have followed his lead for years and now you are acting like , you are our leader , we didn't asked your opinions in this matter so I must ask you to leave or else I will throw you outside .... "

Martine calls his guards inside and asked them to threw him outside , but Nichole and Ryan came in front of them and said ,

" If you touch him , you gonna have to go through us , we won't let you touch him after all after what he said , he is spitting the truth and you can't deny this Charles .... "
