Chapter #34 - A late good bye

Mason puts his hands in his pocket and began to see if he has any bullets in his pockets , he checked his back pocket and found some bullets in it and he gave him some of them ,
Mason replies ,
“ Yeah ! I have here .... “
Mason gave him some ammo and they starts shooting at remaining and they killed the remaining of them , meanwhile Cormack and Lucifer still searching for Jimmy but couldn’t find him . Jimmy was heading towards the kitchen sneakily and he saw his dad hostage , Dave and Connor pointing there gun at them , Jimmy got terrified but he hold his emotions and kept listening to there conversation .
Dave says ,
“ This is your last chance , let him go ... “
The man sitting on the chair gets up and says ,
“ Alright ! I guess you don’t left me a choice .... “
He placed his gun on uncle Shepherd head and says ,
“ I will count 3 if you don’t give me his son then I will kill his dad .... “
Jimmy gets terrified and ran inside kitchen with hands up and says ,
“ Please ! Leave my dad alone , you want me and I’m here .... “
Dave and Connor got there eyes off from both armed men and Dave says ,
“ Jimmy ! No “
Men moved his gun towards Jimmy and shot him , Jimmy falls on the ground , Dave and Connor both presses the trigger at the same time and shot them on their head and killed them , uncle got freed and falls on the ground and he desperately cried loud , he says ,
“ No Jimmy ! This all my fault .... “
Uncle cried loudly , Dave and Connor got tears in there eyes as well watching uncle Shepherd crying loud , Connor walked towards uncle , he hold him in his hand to calm him but uncle Shepherd dragged himself to Jimmy’s body and says while crying ,
“ This all my fault , I should have gave them my shop , I lost my only son .... “
Dave fall down on his knees and he looked at Jimmy’s body and remember the moments in there childhood with him . He didn’t spoke anything , he couldn’t hear anything for a second , he can hear only the last words of Jimmy , meanwhile Mason and Josh killed all the man and were checking if anyone was alive or not , suddenly they heard 3 gun shots from the hall and they both ran inside . Inside the hall , Lucifer and Cormack heard the sound also , they ran towards the kitchen and all of them got there and saw Jimmy’s body and Uncle was crying on his body , Dave was on his knees , They all got shocked and didn’t say anything but standing there . Jimmy’s wife Tania also came inside the kitchen and saw Jimmy’s body and she couldn’t hold her self and knocked out , Josh caught her while she was falling .
After the night in afternoon , everyone were in the graveyard to burry Jimmy’s body , Jimmy’s coffin was in the middle and everyone was standing around and everyone having the last look at his body , uncle and Tania were crying , then they buried her , after burring him , priest prayed for his forgiveness and everyone hugged uncle Shepherd including Dave and others . After the funeral Dave was sitting on his grave , Mason and others were watching him from the distance , Josh says ,
“ He’s such a drama queen ... “
Connor asks ,
“ What do you mean ? “
Josh replies ,
“ I’m mean that why he do such things , he didn’t mean s**t to him then why is he is paying so much attention towards him now , he is gone move on now .... “
Lucifer was smoking cigarette and says ,
“ You won’t understand Josh , because you don’t have heart .... “
Josh replies ,
“ Oh Yeah ! I forgot everyone in our group has become more mature then me .... “
Connor says ,
“ You were never been mature enough like Dave was , he knows better then you , he have sacrificed a lot for us .... “
Josh replies ,
“ So what if he does sacrifice for you guys .... “
Connor says ,
“ Forget it you won’t understand once you will understand what he have done .... “
Jimmy’s wife Tania entered inside the graveyard and Josh saw her and says ,
“ Is that Jimmy’s wife ? “
Lucifer replies ,
“ Yeah ! “
She walked towards Jimmy’s grave where Dave was sitting and crying , she sat down beside him , Dave saw her and wipes his tears , he got up to walk away but Tania holds him and says ,
“ Sit for a second ... “
Dave sit on his knees and Tania says ,
“ You know I know everything about you guys Dave , Jimmy always talks about you guys how you bully him and make fun of him , once you made a birthday cake for him but explodes , all those things Jimmy told me because he really love you all even though you guys bullied him but you were the one who entertained him for years in school , he might be not with us but I remembered a day before the marriage he said that , whatever happens to me I know one thing for sure that my friends will take care of you and my dad , I know now who’s he been referring to .... “
Dave replied ,
" I'm sorry for your lose , I know I couldn't bring him back from the death but I promise you Tania , I will try my best to fill in the place of him .... "
Tania said ,
" You know this , you can't do that , no one can take Jimmy's place , his nature , his energy , his goodness , everything was so unique about him , I hope that where ever he is , he would be happy because he always look for small happiness in small things , he always talks about achieving his dreams in the form a happy family and having kids , he was truly a husband material and I fall in love with him ... "
Dave replied ,
" I know , I can't fill his place but I will try my best Tania and I will assure you that nothing will happen to you ... "
Tania said ,
" No Dave ! I will be alright , I don't need anyone in my life for now , but you can visit me sometimes ... "
Dave replied ,
" I'm sorry Tania , I should have acted quickly at that time , I don't know why I hold my hand at that moment ... "
Tania said ,
" I know Dave it wasn't your fault , it was the will of God that called upon him and someday we all will die , but right now our time haven't arrived just yet but soon it will arrive , I hope I don't get to see my loved once death in front of me after this blow , I won't be able to get my self in the right place ... "
Dave replied ,
" That's what I feel , I'm afraid of losing my friends and I'm afraid that one day , I will lose them all and I don't really want it to happen ... "
Tania said ,
" It's okay , because you have to accept the fate , it's our fate Dave that we have to survive , if you able to survive your fate then you are no more then a legend .... "
Dave asked ,
" What does that mean ? "
Tania replied ,
" Nothing ! Just a quote well it's time to go Dave .... "
Dave said ,
" I'm sorry again , I wish he would have stayed with us ... "
Tania replied ,
" No it's alright Dave , you can't have everything in your life and expect anyone to fill in the place of that person , you can't have everything in your life ... "
Dave said ,
" I know .. "
Tania asked ,
" Can I say something to you Dave ? "
Dave replied ,
" Yeah sure ! "
Tania said ,
" Jimmy really adored you , he always talks about you , everything you did with him , he always loved you all but most only you , he really wanted to be at your side because he saw something in you ... "
Dave starts crying and says ,
“ This is all my fault , I should have pressed the trigger .... “
Tania replies ,
“ This isn’t your fault nor anyone it was fate .... “
Dave wipes his tears and says ,
“ I will take care of you and Uncle come let me drop you to your house .... “
Dave take her to the house , meanwhile Mason and others went back to there hideout .
