Zack "Morning, Doc.” Julie walked in my office, all bright-eyed and too damn cheerful for this Monday morning hour, a manila folder clutched to her chest. “Hope you’ve had your caffeine fix, ‘cause I’m about ruin your day.” I arched a brow and stretched in my seat, setting down my pen. “What's up, you're shitting me right?" She grinned walking to my desk and sliding the folder to me. “Calm down doc, just the candidate list for the rehab nursing program. Hot off the printer. Thought you’d wanna take a look before rounds, share your thoughts you know.” I pulled the file closer, flipping it open as careful as I could. I looked keenly through the list. Most names blurred together, until one stopped me cold. Amy. I kept my face neutral, but Julie noticed the slight pause. Of course she did.
