“Why did you poison your employer? Who instructed you to do it? Who put you up to this? How much were you paid to carry out the job?” Those were the questions the detectives kept firing at me throughout the interrogation at the police station. I was physically exhausted and overwhelmingly fatigued because I hadn’t eaten anything all day.
