Chapter Sixteen A Day At The Races The next morning the four women set off in Mary’s hover-car. It was over an hour drive before they reached the race meeting. On the way there Amora noticed that they were the only hover-car on the road. They passed hover-trucks and coaches but not hover-cars. “Are we the only hover-car on the road?” she asked Mary. “No,” replied Mary, “there are others.” “I haven’t seen any so far,” said Luna. “That’s because only a small number of hover-cars are allowed on the road,” said Margaret, “Mary has one because she is an important government official.” “Oh I see,” said Luna.
