Chapter Twenty
Avoiding Detection
“Hide under that tree,” Amora ordered the men pointing with her finger.
They hid under a tree and then saw a small pilotless drone go overhead.
“They’re still searching for us,” said Amora when the drone had disappeared behind the trees.
“Do you think it spotted us?” asked Luna.
“I hope not,” said Amora, “but if it has, we will soon have people searching this area. Your hearing must be very good to hear that.”
“Oh well at least I’m good for something,” said Luna.
“Don’t put yourself down,” said Amora, “this is your first mission you are still learning.”
“If you say so,” said Luna.
Then late afternoon they stopped for another meal, Amora again restricted her and Luna’s meal to one biscuit and a piece of fruit in spite of Luna’s protests and again
