THE GIRL IN THE HOOD

Episode 2

Emma POV

Staring at the sparkling ring before me, I look up to the man I love the most while he is on one knee. As he Telling me all the reasons why he fell in love with me, I can feel the tears that are about to leave my eye as I nod my head to the question I have been waiting so long for. 

He slips the ring on t my finger, as he hugs me in the next second." I love you so much Emma, I promise to make you the happiest woman in the world" he says while holding my cheek with one hand and the other one around my waist. staring at his bright blue eye, I can't help but wonder what our future will be like. 

"Emma, let go " I'm brought back to reality by his sweet voice, "I'm coming just grabbing my bag," I say and I grab my black purse run to the door before he leaves without me. it has been over a year since he proposed to me, I have been planning my wedding since then, I still can't believe it's only a week away.

As I gather all my through I see that we have arrived at the dress shop, look at him I say "give me an hour, I will be done by then", grab my purse I'm about to leave the car when I suddenly feel something on my wrist, I turn around to see Alex hold my hand with his puppy dog eyes."Can't I just come with you, do really I have to wait to see you" he says while pulling me back in the car. " Yes, I like the traditional way, you know that," I say as I gently pull my have out of his hold. I peck his lips and then leave the car, I look back and wave goodbye as I enter the store ready to try my dress.

My dress was perfect it was like a princess dress, with a sweetheart neckline, a fitted top that flared out from the waist. it was what I all dreamed about. As I look in the mirror, I start to realize that this is real, I'm one week away from marrying the love of my life. Exiting the store I see Alex's car park in the corner of the parking lot, walking toward it I see Alex talk to someone. The man he was talking to was high about 7 feet tall with big biceps and tattoos all over him. I was about to walk to them when I hear Alex scream " You stay away from her, it already been 2 years, I have nothing to do with y'all any more so stop bothering me" he looked furious as he screamed, about to walk away from him when the man said something that scared me.

I walked toward the car scared to even look in their direction, it could be right their no way. Alex will never lie to me, he loves me he wouldn't hide a thing from me. Right?? thinking back to the word the guys said "You have to leave her, the boss wants you back at headquarter by Monday. He says the mission is done, we got all the information we need from her. You have until then to leave her or else..." he said as h smirked it, Alex.

    What could they have been talking about, what headquarters?? Alex works in my dad's company and I know everyone there and what information did he get from me? As I wait by the car I see Alex walking toward me with a big smile on his face, "Let's get some food" he says as he opens the car door for me. i nod as I smile at him, the ride was long and all I could think about was what did that guy mean."Emma, Emma" I'm brought back from my thought by Alex calling me."Huh..."  staring at him, he places his hand on mine asking "Are you OK? do you want to go home?". " No I'm ok just hungry, let go to Taco Bell," I say as he nods and starts to focus on the road again. Push all my thoughts down, I try to focus again.
