When I woke, I was warm, comfortable, filled with a new kind of peace. Jared snoozed softly against me, his arm lazily slung around my waist. I scooted closer into him. I loved the feel of him, having someone against me. He woke from my movement and I chastised myself for being so greedy, for wanting him tight against me. His eyes slowly opened one at a time. I rested my head on my arm watching him wake up as he took me in. His eyes followed over my face down my throat to my chest stopping where the blankets began to cover my body.
